Arthouse Hotel New York City

Great location on the upper west side. Two blocks from the park. Able to check in early and given an upgrade!

Overall, we enjoy staying here and are repeat guests. The location is great, we enjoy chattting with staff, and the rooms are clean. The daily resort fee is a bit steep considering what it includes; I don't enjoy continental breakfast and do not use a gym but the daily bottled water in the room is greatly appreciated. I'd rather have that included in the room price versus an additional charge upon arriving. The hotel lobby area is a lovely spot to sit and the check-in process has always been very smooth.

Nice lobbies, rooms very clean. Nice bathroom. Rooms furnished very minimally, almost like a student dorm room. Some staff very pleasant, some not.

We loved everything about this hotel!! Will stay here every time we come to NYC

Loved the aesthetic this hotel gives. Only downside is the rooms are a little small and have no microwave or mini fridge

I would describe The Arthouse as a “boutique” hotel. The room was generous for New York and accommodated the very comfortable king size bed easily. The rooms appear to have been recently renovated with a clean modern look. There was plenty of storage with units that reflected a “locker” appearance and functionality. While this may sound a bit strange, it fit- was pleasing. The bathroom was small but with a great shower, clean with floor to ceiling ceramic. The only seating was a desk chair. The room was large enough to hold some other seating. They had no on site cafe or restaurant but there was a good restaurant next door and several places to eat in walking distance. They do have a great bar and on Friday night there was live entertainment. Coffee and tea were provided in the room. The staff was great and location only a couple blocks from Central Park and again within walking distance to The American Natural History Museum, The Metropolitan Museum of Art and The Guggenheim. All in all, it provided a great place to stay in one of the most exciting, vibrant cities of the world!

We loved the theme, how it was decorated. The front desk was very understanding with our early check in when we had been on a plain all night with nowhere to go before checking. We were offered a room as soon as it was available, they were very helpful. Doorman was pleasant and occomidatibg. Bellman was helpful and always at door. The beds were clean a d soft extra pillows were a great touch. The floors were not clean and it would ya e been very helpful to have a mini fridge in room. Thank you for the stay. Claire Rm 414

way too many add on fees, paid $155 to book the room ahead of time for one night at check out paid $286.

Really cozy lobby and friendly staff. You should note that the hotel is right next to a fire department, so ask for a room away from the station if you have trouble sleeping. It is located on a fairly busy street, so if noise keeps you up at night then you might want to bring earplugs.

The hotel was very stylish and great price. The hotel staff was friendly.

The location is terrific, particularly for its proximity to public transportation and Zabar's.

Room was large spacious clean bathroom and nice viewc
