Loved the vibe of the hotel. The staff was very kind and accommodating, even giving me free hand sanitizer. Everything was super clean when I arrived.

What I like about the hotel Evelyn is that it’s clean and

Location , restaurant, room and bed was very confortable. Will definitely stay again

Really beautiful boutique hotel, would definetly make a return visit

Great location in Nomad. All the employees were great.

Hotel was cute and cozy, staff was friendly... location was great

In the middle of all the Good eateries, parks, transportation but yet not overcrowded with tourist. Hotel room size was the best!! A bit more spacious than what NYC is now offering to travelers; I've stayed in most in the same area, although the new "Boutique" hotels were just built or recently remodeled but where bathrooms are arm length space, rooms are so cramped but this hotel gives you adequate space @ a reasonable price.

Love everything about this hotel, from the staff to the rooms. Only place I stay at when I’m in NYC.

The Evelyn exceeded our expectations. The staff was cheerful and so friendly. I was there with 2 other ladies, celebrating a friend's birthday. There was a kind, handwritten birthday wish note in our room from the manager with 2 mini cakes from the bakery attached to the lobby. A thoughtful touch. The room was tight with 3 suitcases but it was not horrible at all. Besides we were only in our room to sleep anyways. It was very clean and although it overlooked the street, it was very quiet. I booked the room and my 2 friends kept thanking me for finding such a great hotel in a central location. When I return to NYC, i will definitely make The Evelyn my hotel.

Nice hotel, very friendly staff. Overall, the stay was very pleasant, I'd stay at the hotel again.

I had high hopes for this hotel since the photos looked great and it had good reviews. Boy was I let down. The place was an absolute dump. Let's start with check in. Staff wasn't very friendly, but I could have dealt with that. Finally got checked in and had to wait 10 minutes for the elevator and then WE GOT STUCK IN THE ELEVATOR. Finally made it to the room and it looked nothing like the photos and on top of that it was disgusting. Not only was it dirty, but it had stains on everything. It made my skin crawl just being in there for 5 minutes. My gf and I immediately went back to the front desk to check out. They offered another room but there was no way we were staying there. KEEP READING THERE'S MORE... After we "checked out" we were waiting for them to bring our car back and another couple came down to the desk because the room they were just checked into was occupied. I guess mistakes happen, but i kid you not the hotel clerk said "we can offer you room ###, it's one of our best rooms". Guess what, room ### was the room we checked out of 5 minutes before that was filthy. It was like the bathroom from SAW. I may have gotten ring worm. Ultimately I'm really disappointed in Orbitz for not having any quality control on their listings and the fake reviews they seem to have.

The room was very nice, it is small but that is New York. We loved the decor and everything seemed very updated and new. The bathroom is small but beautiful. The floor is heated and the shower head is huge with a hose as an option to use as well. We had a great experience, would definitely stay here again.

Lovely staff, perfect room and exceptional toiletries

The hotel is undergoing reno, but the site never revealed that. The rooms had almost no soundproofing so sounds carried. WiFi disconnects allll the time so constantly have to re-log on. The toilet broke down 3 separate times. The staff were nice enough so maybe I’ll try them again after their reno but in its current state, the stay was disappointing and frustrating.

The bed was comfortable. The room we stayed in was incredibly quiet. The staff was attentive. The location was perfect, close to penn station and far enough away from Times Square. I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is located next to the Museum of Sex which has a bar playing loud music late at night which I could hear from my room and ruined my sleep. There are many outlets in the room but the one beside my bed wasn’t working. The smoke alarm went off out of nowhere. Part of the reason why I chose this hotel was bc their website shows large windows with a lot of natural light but my room had zero windows looking outside. I have no idea what I was looking at through those windows. However the hotel is located in a good area with a lot to eat, see and do, the staff was very friendly, and the room was very clean.

Room's at the Evelyn always have a very comfortable bed, and adequate closet storage space. Looking forward to the remodel when a bar will be in the hotel, as well as hopes that they will add minibar items to the room. Overall high quality for the price.

I needed a nice comfortable room in the city for one night while in between apartments for under $160. I was under impression my room would have a full bath and that the hotel would at least have a place in reception area to sit and have coffee or use internet or something -but it had nothing to make me comfortable. The staff was pleasant - they gave me 10% off but that was not nearly enough.

Wife and daughter stayed in Evelyn for a NYC weekend trip and were very impressed with the facility and how hospitable the staff treated them. Rooms were modern and clean, bathroom reminded them of European hotel with deluge and wand.
