I think I chose this property at a high demand time because the price was quadrupled. That being said, I was satisfied with the majority of my stay. The few issues were the pillow case that was fluffed and propped against the headboard still had makeup and hair on it from the previous guest. After a call to the front desk, a complete set of bed linen and blankets were immediately brought to the room. The other thing was the extra small cramped bathroom with no counter space and no where to put clean clothes or towels. I know things are smaller in NY but if you’re cluster-phobic this tiny space will be problematic. What I liked most were the location. Everything was within a few minutes walk. And the staff were very helpful and friendly.

Great location, but Housekeeping Needs Help

Housekeeping did not show at all on 2nd and 3nd day. Second day, we let housekeeping staff know directly that our room had not been serviced at around 3pm. Was told it would be taken care of, and it was not. Had to ask for fresh towels at front desk finally around 7pm. Same thing on day three, again told front desk and someone finally showed up around 45 minutes later. Breakfast was below standard. Pre made waffles were not even cooked, and oatmeal was liquid. "Freshly" cut fruit was slimy. Plusses were full.size shampoo, etc in bath., and proximity to everything Times Square. Lots of food options within walking distance. Front desk and lobby staff friendly and helpful.

Great location to times square and transit. Maintenance of elevators is required so they are operational at all times. Perhaps isolate elevators to certain floors. Air conditioning in stairs cases required as we needed to use them regularly to get to and from our room on the 9th floor. Maintenance of furniture, specifically sofa bed pull out, broken spings with electrical tape trying to hold it together, some springs completely missing so you actually fall through. (Room 918). Preparation of our room was not on time and passed 3pm. After a long travel day and doing everything to pre check in, the room should be ready for check in time. Booked a high floor but not received. The daily room house keeping was very well done and was the perk of the trip. Support for unloading cars and getting luggage to room would be helpful. With such a small area for offload that is occupied by mainly uber drivers causes conflict for guests that have their vehicle on site. The breakfast area cannot support the size of the hotel. The breakfast was great but hard to get a seat. Therefore you need to take your breakfast back to the room via elevator, but usually stairs because the elevators were out of order or occupied. Parking - check in staff should communicate parking arrangements in a clear manner by utilizing a map. At check in time, the room was not ready, the parking was full and we were new to the area. Poor experience starting from the moment we arrived.
