Lotte New York Palace

4.5 out of 5.0

This was a quick site-seeing to celebrate our daughters 10th Birthday. Also, during the coldest weeks of the year. Lotte Palace was extremely accommodating and warm throughout our two night trip.

Elegant spacious room with great views but surprising gaps in amenities such as coffee maker. Biggest problem was no grab bars in bathroom, making it very difficult for aging knees to get in and out of otherwise excellent tub. Also very limited food service.

Gorgeous hotel. Convenient to eveeeyrhinf and beautiful view of St. Patrick’s.

Hotel was great. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would recommend to anyone wanting to experience NY

The location and the views from this hotel are outstanding. Our room was clean and comfortable and much needed after walking all day! We enjoyed sitting outside in the mornings with coffee and in the evenings to relax. I can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay. I have found my home away from home.

I left my credit card in the hotel at a table. They found me within hours and brought it back to me.

Checked in and was given a key that did not work, I had to come back down to get the key activated. I give them a two because at 10:30 am the water shut off in the bathroom, earlier at 8.30 I could hear the maid service thud and bump their carts down the hallway. I wanted to order breakfast but decided against it after the entire experience and felt it wouldn't have been good.

Spent a weekend getaway here with family. It was very family friendly, and the staff were very helpful. The hotel was very close to Radio City Music Hall where we attended an event. It was also and easy walk to Times Square, Rockefeller Center, and Central Park. We walked everywhere.

This is the BEST hotel in nyc...it is in a great location and so BEAUTIFUL..

Great location. Nice room with a great view of the cathedral. Beds and pillows were comfy. Nice big bath towels and robes. Courtyard was nice to have to sit and visit on the summer evenings. Was disappointed that to get ice it required you to call room service. Also, only one pillow was left on each each bed (because that was the number of people on the reservation). We had to call to get additional pillows. With the price of your stay, it is disappointing that it seems they try to get every additional dollar out of you "al la carte". Overall it was a great pick for a hotel.

Overall service was very good. The bed was comfortable and the room was very clean. Shower spray was strong. We arrived prior to stated check-in time and though there were no rooms in the class we reserved they offered other alternatives so we could check in immediately. Only negative comment would be around pricing of additional items - food, minibar, internet was outrageously high but probably consistent with many other hotels in this class.

Loved this hotel. Beautiful lobby and entrance. Rooms were lovely. A terrific Madison Avenue hotel. We did have issues getting the maid service to stock the rooms appropriately for 4 people and had to call each night, which was frustrating. That being said, I would stay again b/c it was very nice and super convenient. We could walk everywhere.

The doormen-the concierge-everyone was a delight! They all wNted to help-with our luggage, hailing a taxi or just giving us direction around the city! Thank you!!!

Excellent location, very nice and beautiful hotel. But the attitude of one man at mail desk and another man at the luggage desk is really awful. Ruined my experience.

Amazing stay! Beautiful view of the cathedral from our 37th floor upgrade. We like to use the subway a lot and there isn't one really close. That was the only con we had!

Nice hotel. The rooms are a bit sparse. A little corporate feeling. But very comfortable and very spacious. Would book again especially for the price.

Birthday weekend so they put me on the top floor overlooking St Patrick's Cathedral, magnificent view. Friendly staff. Would stay there again without question.

The hotel staff was excellent. Their suggestions were spot on. It was close to all the shopping, shows and sight seeing you could want. Also, an easy drive from the airport.

Lovely room, large and well appointed. Looked out at another building, but then, didn't spend much time in room. They just shouldn't hype the St Pats view if it doesn't exist.

The entrance of the hotel looks like a palace, which is how they came up with their name, I suppose. It gives a grand, yet "homey" feeling. The bed was very comfortable, and the view was spectacular. I appreciated the welcoming message and music on the television screen upon arrival. Very convenient location, and very pleasant staff. When we arrived, there was a very long line for check-in, but the friendly and apologetic staff approached each guest, offering water bottles and champagne to help ease the pain of the line. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience, and I will definitely be staying here again.
