Ameritania at Times Square

3.5 out of 5.0

Recent guest reviews

We got to the hotel early since our flight was at 7am, they got us a room as soon as they can which was a few hours earlier. Customer service was really nice, they stored our luggage so we could explore before and after check in. Location is very central to everything. The windows need better insulation as we could hear everything.

Great location near Times Square. Friendly and helpful staff. Rooms always clean and restocked with bathroom supplies.

It is a very nice hotel with a very good location in Broadway avenue. A couple of blocks down is Times Square, so you are almost in the middle of everything without the mess. Rooms are small but that the standard of that area. The deserve a 5 stars in cleanness. We were surprised every single day by the neatness of the room. We were 4 in a small room with two beds so we leave it a little bit messy. Bonnie kindly took care every single day. Julian at the door was our tour guide for the first two days. We made the schedule based on his recommendations and they were very helpful. Satisfied with the stay and highly recommended.

Nice hotel close to attractions! Like it very much! I recommend it!

Good location, comfortable bed, room was a little dark.

Had a great time as always at the Ameritania. Friendly staff who greeted me back. Great location to theatre and Rock Center.

I thought the hotel was very clean and beautiful. The only complaint would be that I didnt feel completely safe. My hotel door was broken and twice I came back to an opened door. It made me nervous. The hotel staff claimed that they fixed the door but it kept happening.

Lots of attractions around the hotel!! Walking distance to Times Square, Central Park, 5th Av, Rockefeller Center, Museums... PERFECT LOCATION!! Many subway stations next to the hotel. Great room, great staff! WE LOVED IT!

Queens Beds would have been nice. Several women went for a "girls weekend" and double beds were a bit cost.

The hotel was very centrally located to all that we wanted to do. It was clean and having 3 in a room wasn't too crowded. My only complaint was that they didn't have enough outlets to charge phone and use hair dryers. We could only find one in the bathroom and a single on the lamp.

There was no free wi-fi and no free breakfast. So, I was quiet disappointed.

Hotel was not big city glitz - but it was a tucked away find with all you could want for the best price in town. Located literally around the corner from the Ed Sullivan Theatre where they now tape the Colbert show. Easy walk to Rockefeller Center, Times Square, and Central Park. Hotel staff were very helpful, professional, and polite. Our room was well appointed and newly remodeled. We will stay there again on our next trip to the city.

We spent 4 nights right after Christmas in NY. This is the perfect hotel location wise! Walking distance to everything you could want! Tons of amazing restraints and attractions. Close to Central Park. Right next to shows and Broadway, but tucked around the corner. Easy access to cabs and subway. Rooms are small, but all NYC rooms are smaller than most expect. Staff is extremely helpful with anything you need. Amazing experience. We will stay here next time we visit.

I enjoyed my stay ! Very cute and I loved the decor.

Room reasonably sized for Nya, nice shower, poor bed support. Hotel chinzy with amenities, high priced Internet access, no coffee in room. Would not return.

We return to this hotel over and over!! Best location, very polite employees. The rooms are always very clean and comfortable. They have a nice lobby to relax in. The bar area is small but very comfortable and has everything you need.

The hotel was in need of some TLC. The furniture in our room was worn and the windows looking out at the City were filthy dirty. We paid for a deluxe king room and the room was so small that we asked to be moved to a larger room. At night, the hotel sign only lit up the letters AMER? I will say the staff was very accommodating throughout our stay. Botttom line, this hotel was just average.

The location is perfect, between Times Square and Central Park. Lots of options for food close by. I would definitely stay here again!

Perfect midtown location with great décor. Walked everywhere from this location. Friendly staff.

We loved the location and the cleanliness of the hotel. The staff was amazing and soooo helpful!! The room was a bit small, however, I have realized that most rooms in NYC are small. Thanks for a GREAT Trip!

Dear Guest, Thank you for your feedback. We are glad that you found our location convenient and beds comfortable. Regarding the room being too dark, it seems that you had a room with a courtyard view, but there are rooms with street view with much more natural lights. Thank you again for your comments.
