Great overall hotel. Convenient location, nice rooms, good bar.

A little old but good location. Some of the staff was helpful. The day crew was nice. The night crew was not.

Great staff, great locale and service. Very welcoming and amenities were fantastic. Very close to great attractions and restaurants. We will definitely stay here many times over.

The staff was very nice and helpful. Everyone did a great job of making the guest feel like the number one priority of the hotel, a true sign of hospitality at it's finest.

Love that this hotel is so close to Grand Central Station. Staff is friendly and very helpful. Have stayed here before. My room this time was much smaller. Still bigger than most NY hotel rooms.

We loved this hotel. Everyone from the reservation clerks to the cleaning staff were so friendly, helpful and accomodating. Location is great also, very close to grand central market. Cabs easy to get and in the middle of so much. We'll definitely stay again and recommend to friends and family.

Great location, friendly staff and a comfortable bed.

Pros: Staff were very friendly at the front desk. The location is superb. It's two minutes walk from Grand Central and close to everywhere we needed to go to. There's an umbrella to loan in the room which is a very nice touch. The bedding and towels were of high quality. The lobby is tastefully decorated with nice chairs, and refreshing lemonade. Weaknesses: Water pressure from the shower was very weak. There is a small desk and one chair in the room. Another chair and small coffee table would be nice though it may make the room feel more cramped. The lamps are old especially the one on the desk. A slight touch would turn it on or off (not by turning the switch). There is no temperature control in the room so we have to take whatever the building is set at. There was a permanent humming sound outside. We were facing other buildings so we weren't sure where the noise had come from. We had stayed in this area before and didn't hear it. No free wifi in the room was a bit inconvenient. Bed was on the softer side for our taste. Conclusion - it's a pleasant hotel overall and we would consider staying here again.

Staff was pleasant, informative and accommodating. Only complaint (and not a major one) is that the mattress was too soft.

Very nice. The carpet was stained and could have been cleaner.

Requested a king size bed when making the reservation on orbitz and got a queen. Staff and management not helpful

I have been to this hotel about 4 times and keep going back. It is close to Grand Central station's amazing transportation system. The restaurant has delicious Irish breakfasts. The bar is fun but usually too crowded and loud. The rooms are very small but comfortable. My only objections this time around are that TV hasn't any cable programs and is difficult to navigate and there isn't internet access except for a fee. Otherwise, I highly recommend Fitzpatrick's Grand Central hotel.

Nice but dated hotel located directly across from Grand Central - good location if that is your intent. Amenities somewhat lacking. Large but dated bathroom.

Other than some cracks in the bathroom floor the room was in perfect shape. For the deal I got to stay here it was amazing. Short walk to Broadway and Central Park, great location.

It was okay. very close to grand central, although not a lot of good restaurants close by and was disappointed with the bar within the hotel.

This was our 3rd stay at the Fitzpatrick Grand Central, and we were not disappointed in the least. The hotel staff was very attentive, the room was spacious, sleep came easily as the hotel is quiet with a very comfortable bed, and being less than a block from Grand Central Terminal was extremely convenient for getting around the city. I can recommend this hotel without reservation, and in fact, look forward to a return stay!

Absolutely Irish. Irish staff....Irish guests. Was nice, clean, quiet. The pub downstairs was a bit on the pricey side. Would stay again -- just wish it wasn't quiet as expensive, but could have been a lot worse!

Great location, basic bedroom with fantastic bathroom. Great for people who will be exploring the city most of the day and want a nice place to return to at the end of the night

We really enjoyed our time at the Fitzpatrick. The staff was so helpful and friendly! The location is wonderful as well. Being able to walk everywhere was a real plus! Thank you!

Perfect location for a quick trip to NYC to see the US Open at a price that's hard to beat. Room and especially the bed were very comfortable for the price and the staff friendly and efficient. I will definitely stay again.
