The Shoreham Hotel

The hotel staff is so nice, everyone was super helpful. The hotel lobby is small there really isn't a place to eat or hang out so it qas perfect for me. The room was suprisingly BIG. The bathroom was large and spacious compared to what I've seen before. The towels were the softest or plush, but when you're in and out of the hotel and you are so tired you don't really mind. This isn't a spa hotel to come to relax. The only thing I would change is more light- like in the closet. Also, I would like to book the room as 2 people, and let my friends come in without notice, but theres a fee.

Walking distance to time square, Central Park & Rockefeller center! Perfect spot! The staff was friendly with impeccable customer service & our room exceeded our expectations! We would defiantly use this hotel again!

Great, safe location near theater district, NE of Times Square. VERY QUIET rooms. Smallish rooms but comfortable and clean; nice beds. No extras but good, inexpensive eating on same block. Would definitely stay there again. Felt like I was in a 'neighborhood' and out of tourism area with easy access to everything.

Nice hotel, the room a bit small, great location, the staff was helpfull and also they provide services for turist.

Very clean and friendly staff. Room was larger than expected. Coffee kiosk could be open 24/7.

This was a great little hotel tucked away on a side street but central to everywhere I needed to go in Midtown. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the room was nice and relatively quiet (it *is* New York, after all, so silence is not really an option).

Hi, Stayed in Manhattan at this hotel. I could not believe in the midst of 95 degree temperatures... with all the money this hotel is bringing in, the air-conditioning system was awful!. The air-conditioning made noise, but the air was not cold. Shame on them!

Room was ok then they gave me an ironing board no legs

We loved this hotel. Our room had a big window onto the street, so we could watch all the traffic and people. Our bed was amazingly comfortable. The staff was incredible. The bathroom was tiny, and the elevators were slow, but the room was spacious (in New York!) and we took the stairs. We just loved it, would stay there again in a heartbeat..

Great location, nice staff, great bar, clean rooms. The only issue is a really loud machine they have on the roof that vibrated around the walls which kept me awake at night.

Several years ago I stayed at this little hotel and was so pleased to find such a hidden gem. It was affordable, well located with beautiful, large rooms that were very comfortable. Things have certainly grown weary. The sparkle is gone and I cannot see ever recommending this hotel or returning to stay there. The front desk staff was very pleasant and accommodating, and helped us get a punctual, clean car that took us to the airport without a glitch.

I'm no expert on NYC hotel room size, but I don't think our room could have been smaller and still have room to walk. It was definitely smaller than our room on the cruise ship this past summer. That said, the room was clean but sparse. The bathroom was separated from the rest of the room by opaque glass (not soundproof). The bed was hard, but not uncomfortable. Bathroom was adequate. No view from small window. Great hotel location for theater, park, restaurants. I probably would look around before booking a room here again look more closely at room size, etc.

Staff was amazing and very accommodating! Had a great trip and loved the location!

Shoreham is a serviceable Midtown hotel. Ideal for the traveler on a budget or a quick one night stay. The hotel is understaffed at peak times: front desk/bellhop/valet, and that's a concern.

clean, comfortable and good location i really enjoyed living there. i planning on going there again and stay at this place again.

excellent location, confortable room. Just a few meters from best stores and fine restaurant. I'll be back in a future, not doubt

Helpful front desk. Added free internet to my room. Bellman were nice and friendly

Great location, staff was very courteous and property and room was clean. But our room was down a narrow hallway was very small, with no window light, and therefore somewhat claustrophobic.

The hotel carpet was not clean nor were the sheets. When I was checking in the police were there investigating a violent crime that took place earlier in the week at the hotel. They were not quite about it.

Great location for sightseeing and shopping!! Staff is very helpful. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Overall experience is great!
