I had a great time with my bf at The Time. The staff was courteous and the decor is amazing. We will be back soon. The food at their restaurant Serafina was good and the cold brew at the coffee shop helped us every morning.
My wife and I visited the city for a couple of nights to go to the theatre and have dinner with friends. We weren't sure we could find a hotel in the theatre district that wasn't a boring big chain, but after seeing some great reviews decided to try The Time. It couldn't have been more perfect! The location is absolutely amazing for everything Times Square has to offer, and barely a block from the subway to get around the city from there. The hotel has a fun, modern feel, more like a downtown boutique than the usual midtown hotel. The staff more than match this feel, with a great combination of friendliness and attentiveness. The rooms are not exactly huge, but are a very reasonable size for midtown Manhattan. They are nicely appointed, with clever touches like the TV being secreted within the mirror. We were pleasantly surprised by how quiet it was considering the location. There is a fun bar downstairs, and a hole in the wall cafe that serves a coffee better than any Starbucks. Next time we are in New York we will definitely be back, even if just to stare at the amazing clock behind the front desk!
The hotel was new and trendy, but the staff was very warm and friendly! The manager Jack was super helpful in helping plan some fun outings for me. I had the best time ever!! I cannot wait to return!!
I stayed for the weekend with my friend for her birthday and we absolutely loved it! The room was beautiful. The bed was soooo comfy I didn't want to get up! The shower was so nice. Every time I go to a hotel I always have a problem with the water pressure in the shower but this was perfect. It wasn't confusing like most Places. We came such a hot weekend in New York City and the second we got in the room it felt amazing. I can't wait to come back. Would recommend this hotel to anyone. Overall, excellent place with amazing and helpful staff.
We satyed for 3 nights with my family, the room was great. The manager Jack is really nice when we were leaving without any change for the luggage storage, he just paid for us. His kindness gave our trip a most memorable ending.
Amazing place to stay.. great staff.. good service.. clean rooms and great atmosphere.. never felt like staying in the hotel.. very warm reception from front desk to downstairs restaurant staff... amazing amazing amazing..👍🙏
We stayed for 4 nights in early June with my wife and the overall opinion was that it surpassed our expectations! Fantastic location right at the heart of the Theatre District and very well connected by public transportation. The staff was always kind and ready to help us solve all our issues! Also, in spite of the fact that it is in a very noisy area, rooms are well isolated from outer noises!
This is more a serviced apartment than a hotel. The "lobby" is on level 2 and you pretty much never go to that floor as the elevator to your room is on the 1 floor. Subsequently, there is no control of who goes up. We had to call security once and could not sleep for 2 nights as the people next door were very noisy. Also, I think there were like 3 or 4 people in that tiny room. To be fair the decoration is very cool and the location is fantastic. Nonetheless, I would recommend checking other hotels around the area. I saw A lot!
This hotel was a great hotel. I went in blindly and chose a random hotel just to stay in for a night and I definitely chose correct. The beds and shower were amazing and I also received up to $15 worth of free stuff from the mini bar. The staff was great. There was a really nice door man named Miguel who was very attentive. Altogether, great hotel and I'm a hospitality business major so I know when I received good service.
We picked theTimes Hotel because our daughter went last year with her husband. All in all the hotel was fine, small and comfortable rooms. The bathroom was nice, except the water leaked out onto the floor, due to the gap on the bottom of the door, the bed was comfortable, but one of the chairs had a stain, would have to say it looked like dried bodily fluids, the garage across the street was nice to park your car and forget about it. If we go back to NewYork, we will choose another hotel
