Received a handicap room close to door by housecleaning and elevators. Location is perfect. Pretty close to everything.

The location was great, and the overall facilities meet the name of the hotel. But I have to point out a few things to improve the quality of the hotel. The room was cold ! - the heating was on, but the big window did not block the cold air from outside. And the staff at the reception desk was incredibly rude. If the hotel wants to keep their old reputation, they should train their staff properly so that the staff knows how to behave more professionally.

Great location for an every day visit ... but the hotel is not line of sight to see the New Year's Eve view of Times Square. Hotel security and planned exit/re-entry procedures were well organized and efficient. All in all ... it was a nice place to stay for a weekend in NYC.

The only issue we had was in the bar. We ordered a drink from a female server as we sat by the fireplace after a long and brutal day in the cold. She must have forgotten us, although it wasn’t busy, so had to order from the bartender direct. This wasn’t what we needed at that point in our day. All other staff members were very kind and extremely attentive.

I booked because of club level concierge service. The club was not available on the 44th floor but relocated to the congested lobby. I tried to check out and get a refund but was denied by Sheraton because I had booked through Orbitz. Very average hotel.

Very convenient location for tourists. Room is very clean and daily room service is excellent. Check in took a long time. Maybe because of holiday peek time, there were always long lines for elevators. Customer service is terrible. We made a mistake by relocating some of the beer/ beverage cans in the folio and that lead to immediate charges to our credit card. The phone call with customer service to remove such charges was frustrating. The lady we spoke with was impatient and rude, she blamed us for not seeing the no touch notice in the folio and hung up the phone before we can finish. For the $$$ we paid to stay here, we believe we deserve better service. Will not come back again.

We went for our honeymoon. The front desk agent gave us a great view of times square. Every time we had an interaction with the staff they were extremely friendly and helpful. I loved the location of the hotel. We only had to take the subway one time. Everything else we did the 4 days was a 30 minute walk at most. The only gripe is the bed. It was very old and needed to be updated badly. I did not have one good night of sleep. The frame shifted and make a loud metallic noise when you would lay down. This bed desperately needs updating. There are other facilities in the room that are obviously dated and the wear and tear are very apparent. Without this last paragraph the hotel would have gotten 5 stars across the board. I don't even think a fancy bed would be necessary, just a newer average one would suffice. Again the bed was terrible.

Beautiful hotel decorated for Christmas. Close to Time Square. Room was clean and bed comfortable.

We found empty bottles and socks and other stuff on the side and below the beds. Dirty room. Didnt seem i was at a sheraton.

Could use a better shower head and a fan in the bathroom. Front desk was supposed to send an invoice via email, it still has not been received .

Staf was good, room was very comfortable with good view. I booked for two nights but had to leave due to a Family emergency, was not charged for the second night. I would recommend

I liked everything about this hotel, except the fact that internet required payment. The location is fantastic, the rooms are clean, comfortable> lots to do, Starbucks available on site

Walking distance was short to get to where you want to go. Times Squares 2 minutes walking distance that the best part I like about this hotel I pick for me and my niece,

Hotel is right in the middle of everything. check in was easy however the elevator issue what a pain. put in you room number then they tell you what elevator to take. long waits at rush hour- 5, 8, pm ish

Small Dirty rooms, with old smelly carpet and clogged bathtub. and also they have hidden fees. $25.

The location of this hotel was great! Staff was great to expedite our check in and check out and accommodate any of our needs.

Sheraton New York Times Square was one of the host hotels for the 2017 Capital Jazz Supercruise to Bermuda. Great location, and was within walking distance of the primary hotel where a pre-cruise meet and greet happy hour was held. The hotel was also close to good places to eat, and drug stores where I could pick up s few last minute items.

Good location. Walking distance to Rime Square. The E line (metro line) was right next to the hotel. Good room size for New York. Would stay again.

Good room, only thing was the mattress and pillows were a little hard.

new year's eve - no times square view from hotel

wonderful location
