Sheraton New York Times Square Hotel

4.0 out of 5.0

Myself and another traveling with me are Marriott Reward Members and the hotel would not honor this because we booked through a third party. Hotel manager was very rude even though we were elite members. Bathrooms are extremely small and cleanliness was not very good.

I stayed at the Sheraton Times Square during a recent conference. Everything about the hotel, from the facilities to the staff, was very nice. I have no complaints. We were just a couple of blocks from what I consider Times Square proper which meant all of the action was a short walk away but we were not in the middle of the chaos. Also a short walk to most theaters and some great restaurants. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The Sheraton was a great hotel. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because they charge $14.95/day for wifi. This wouldn't have been a problem if it wasn't so easily accessible. My 9 year old only needed my last name to log in on her ipad, so yes, we were charged for the day. It probably would've happened every day if she hadn't mentioned she got on wifi no problem while we were all connecting to our hotspot. That was our only diappointment. We had no issues with the elevators, like I've read about in so many other reviews. The location is great. Just a couple blocks from Times Square, and there are restaurants all around the area, and the subway is very close too. We were able to check in early free of charge. I made sure before we actually checked in. She said it was $50 to check in before 3:00, so we said we'd wait and started to walk away and she called us back. We told her we didn't want to pay just to check in an hour early, and she said she wasn't going to charge us. I did have two $50 pending charges when I looked, but those both went away by our check out day. I would definitely stay her again. The price was right and the rooms and location were great.

Excellent location close to everything, but the hotel have outrages prices TRUE highway robbery.

Location is great!!! Close to Times Square and Central Park. Easy to get to the subway

Was my first time to visit this Hotel , and I like the experience because we are close to Times square and many stores .

Location was good, but room was smaller than our expectations, and for gym it was $20 extra. I think this facality should be free for guest.

A very quick check in. Room was immaculate. Could use some more elevators at busy times. Long waits. Other than that, everything was great!

Great location, large hotel but elevator banks/elevators are slow and inconvenient

This hotel is located in the heart of NY. If you wanna get your room before 3PM, an additional 50 dollars is a must to pay.

Excellent location, everything very clean. Close of a lot of restaurant and cafe.

paid for the breakfast, Wi-Fi, and horderves room upgrade very glad we did. everything was excellent and very convenient. much cheaper than us going out to eat in NYC. the hotel is in a great location to times square and the subway!

Great location close to the subway close to restaurants very friendly staff.

Nice all the way around and close to entertainment.

We were overall pleased with the Sheraton Times Square. The location to the theater district, subway and other sites cannot be beat. The room size was decent, particularly for the location, and it was clean. The staff was friendly and helpful-- everyone we encountered. You will need to sign up for a Sheraton Preferred Guest account at check-in or before if you want free wifi. If you want a refrigerator in you room, they will charge you for it. And they charge $4 per bag to check your bag for the day if your flight isn't until later than checkout times. A laptop bag is charged the same as a giant suitcase. Also the shower/tub drained verrrry slowly. Also, people in the hallway talking sounded like they were next to my bed. But overall pleased and would stay there again.

The staff was incredibly friendly and always willing to help. The concierge helped with many restaurant and event suggestions. Bed was comfy, although the room was slightly smaller than the pictures made it seem. It was still enough space though. Front desk employees could have been friendlier, but the employees who cleaned the room were extremely nice. Great stay overall!

Nice hotel. Very nice lobby/common area, friendly and efficient staff for check in. Room was OK size considering rate and NYC sizes. Bed was a little firmer than I like, but everything was nice, clean, good condition. Was only there one night, arriving fairly late and leaving fairly early, used automatic check-out, so no info on other features or amenities of the hotel.

I have stayed at the Sheraton Towers in New York City for the past 20 years and this facility just keeps getting better. The location in Mid Town Manhattan is perfect for almost any function you may have in New York City, Broadway shows, restaurants, shopping or business. My wife and I stayed there over Easter weekend and walked to St. Patrick's Cathedral for Easter Mass, Tavern On The Green for Brunch and took in a Broadway show that evening.

Centrally located to theater, Central Park & zoo & Top of the Rock. Personnel added a special touch with birthday cake for my granddaughter's 6th birthday & with free movie. We all enjoyed our visit. Thank you Sheraton !!

Excellent Hotel And and service. Rooms were very clean. Hotel is very well taken care of.
