What a wonderful place to stay, so eclectic and the location can't be beat! The staff was kind, courteous, and went out of their way to assist. I especially enjoyed talking with Melba, who tending to my room. She was so fun and engaging! She made my stay that much better. The room was nice and clean, the bed and pillows were comfortable, and the shampoo etc.. products were fine. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others!

The aesthetics of the room was not pleasant. The outlets were coming out of the wall; the plugs would not stay in. There’s drywall screws coming out of the walls. It looks like they took out old AC units and replaced with others, but didn’t patch the holes or paint around them. There’s no place to put your luggage except on the bed or the floor. Couple good things were the lighting and the hot water.

Overall the room is clean with a comfortable bed. The price is good and the location is perfect. That being said, the elevators don't always work and there is not much room in the bathroom to get ready. Great place to stay to sleep while in NYC just don't expect 5 stars.

The room was disgusting. The mess, the dirt, the rubbish. The streets were cleaner. Tried to resolve with the hotel but they weren’t interested. Had to sleep with socks on as the floor was that dirty you didn’t want to walk around bare foot. The AC / heater unit sounded like a jet engine therefore we couldn’t have it on, so with it being -8 outside, the room was freezing. Was told this was one of their “premier rooms” however no way was this the case. Absolutely disgusting. The blinds didn’t fit the windows so there was light shining in the room all night, the drain didn’t drain due to being full of other people’s hair and blocked. Staff seemed unhelpful and rude upon check in. Would recommend avoiding this place at all cost!!! No customer service, no care, only interested in money. Disgraceful.
