everything in the hotel was better than most hotels in this price point in NYC. The hotel has a major ,major issue with their elevators, especially in the AM. took seven minutes to exit the building every morning waiting for the three high speed elevators. Walked down ten stories several mornings. Try getting rooms above 20 th floor if you can.

Location is awesome. The employees are great. But I didn’t get the room that was advertised in the pictures that i paid for. The pictures had a larger sofas in which i wanted to use for sleeping for the guest i was with. No water bottles in room so you have to buy them. No free water except tap water in the room. That’s the only thing i didn’t like. I would have paid for a cheaper room if i knew i was getting a small sofa and not the larger couch that also had a separate room that was advertised in the pictures.

Im definitely gonna stay this hotel again.staff are very helpful

Very good location, nice room, nice service, will come again

The hotel has a great location and the kitchenette in each room is awesome. The only problem is the elevators. The hotel is very crowded and the elevator wait is really long very often.

They did not have a room for us and did not tell us why the property manager cancelled the room. They said maintenance was the issue and the hotel personnel (two ladies) tried to find us rooms, but they were not successful. They did all they could but it was someone named Myles at Expedia that secured us rooms two hours later. We got to the hotel Plaza Athenee at 2am. Horrible experience arrived by at Element to get that non acceptable news.

The hotel is beautiful and they happily gave us a Room on the 40th floor with gorgeous views! Visitors should be aware that there is very loud construction going on right now in the downstairs lobby area. Breakfast is delicious and there are even evening cocktails. By far the nicest staff I have met at a hotel! I would definitely recommend this hotel and stay there again :)

The location is awesome for - well - just about everything! Easy walk to Time Square, Javits center wasn’t far, lots of food nearby and Subway stations within reasonable range. The hotel has a kitchenette!!! This was why we chose the hotel. It has potential for sure but we walked into a construction zone and there was not any previous communication on that. They tried to accommodate with boxed breakfasts instead of the listed breakfast offerings. I hope the construction helps the hot water ... I can’t imagine the engineering it would take to get water to the upper floors but I felt horrible wasting water while we waited upwards of 5-10mins for it to get warm enough to get in. The lobby was also cramped with a constant crowed just hanging out waiting for??? Anyway, I would stay there again but would want to know it had been updated

The room was spacious and very comfortable. What i didnt like was that renovations were on going at the time. Breakfast was disappointing. Didnt get the option of choosing what i wanted to eat. They didnt say before hand that the lobby area was under reno either.

I wished that there was more things available for amenities while in the hotel. More channels on the tv would’ve been nice also. The fridge should’ve been stocked with drinks and snacks. The elevator wait was a bit to much to be waiting on, even though one elevator was out of service. This hotel should consider a lunch menu to after breakfast is over. Oh, let me not forget the mattress could’ve been better as well, it was to soft as well as the pillows.

Huge problem with the elevator!!!! Either housekeeping and/ or out of service ....And waiting in lines for long periods

Great location, decent size room, clean. Nice view from room! Room was not ready at 3pm for check-in, but at least they took our luggage. Elevators were so slow! Would take 5+ minutes to get up to the room. The elevators also stopped on random floors, even when no one was waiting. Other than that, no complaints! Would stay here again.

Like to stay here when i come for business, i have a choice to go to some great restaurants or relax in my spacious room with kichenette. Sometimes can be overcrowded for breakfast

Loved the spacious rooms the mini kitchen is awesome only thing elevators are so slow
