Nice rooms with upscale amenities. Yoga mat and mini gym in room.
Walking distance to everything! Nice room.
Rooms were small, but felt new and in good condition. Felt clean and like a "nice hotel" rather than a budget hotel. Having three elevators helped. Only two weird items to note: Part of the carpet felt damp when we first arrived -- perhaps it had just been cleaned? This did not recur. Second, the lamps by the bed -- one worked but the arm didn't stay up, the other one's arm worked but the light didn't turn on.
Three of us—a couple teenager—stayed here for 2 nights over Thanksgiving. Very convenient to Grand Central Station, the theater district, Rockefeller Center, & many other sites. Transportation easy, too, being so close to Grand Central. Cons: The room, which we were told was a larger one, was very cramped for the 3 of us. There was an odd ringing sound at times & the outlets (for phone charging) didn't work so well. "Amenity fee" was $25/night, which is kind of a scam: we didn't have time to use the fitness center and this means the in-room WiFi wasn't really "free." Positives: We had breakfast at the restaurant and it was very good & reasonable. Staff was very nice. Everything was clean & we had everything we needed in the room.
Great location. Clean hotel. Friendly staff. Small rooms but nice. Love the lobby deck to hang out.
Seemed to be towel confusion about how many of each should be replaced each day, but quick to correct errors.
Clean smoke free hotel. Room was small but had all the room amenities and didn’t look overpacked. Even had workout equipment in the room
We stayed at EVEN Hotel Midtown for 5 nights. The location is great – easy walk to Grand Central, not too far from theatres & several good coffee shops nearby. Room was typical NYC cozy but the bathroom was larger than in many hotels in this area. Rooms are modern and comfortable. We did have a little issue with housekeeping (didn’t leave enough towels, etc. even though we asked daily for more - and one day they never made it to our room to clean). There was also very little clothes storage in our room – just 2 bins and a short rod for hanging a few things – not ideal for a stay of more than a day or two. I’m not sure I would say this is a 4 star hotel – no bellman, no concierge, etc. but overall it was fine and worked for our visit. We would definitely consider staying here again in the future.
Conveniently located to Grand Central, Times Square, Rockefeller Center and the U.N., which you can easily walk to. Plus, it's an easy location to access the subway and trains.
