I expected a 4+star hotel but it was 3-. No room service at all. The location is very inconvenient.

A very nice hotel. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were good - not great. Rooms were tight for two people, but would benefit greatly by adding a small refrigerator - even a small microwave. Or at least a microwave on each floor. Great shower - and for once, it did not leak all over the floor. Cable TV service was unpredictable - in and out. I would consider staying again - but it will not be at the top of my list.

Overall all went well. Everything just small. Parking was close enough. Great for 1-2 people but too small for family.

I was told to park in the lot across the street. They had a deal where it would be $39/ 24hrs and since I was staying the weekend it was perfect. Upon picking up my car I discovered that the lot across the street was, in fact, not the correct lot and cost me an extra $90 for my trip.

Walking distance to the Empire State Building. Across the street from the ESB is a fantastic pizza place called Little Italy. Subway locations near by. The hot breakfast at the hotel was different every day. The hotel had a luggage holding area that was very useful on our last day as we didn't have to drag our luggage with us after we checked out. Only bad thing was that it was small but hey it's NYC!

Decided at Thanksgiving to take my mom & daughter to NYC at Christmas, something we had done in the past for a number of years. We had never stayed at the BW, but the reviews & price were so good we decided to try it. Everything in the reviews was spot on. The staff here couldn't be more pleasant & helpful, the hotel is clean & well maintained and the breakfast was impressive (we just had to wait a few minutes for a table). The rooms are small - but that's not unusual for NYC; note: we only had one large suitcase between us (4 adults + 4 big suitcases - be flexible and come with a sense of humor). Location is great - reasonable walking distance to Rockefeller, Times Square; Empire State Bldg & Macy's are just around the corner. If the rooms were a little larger, this hotel would be perfect! However, the warmth of the staff, the cleanliness/maintenance of the hotel, the breakfast & price make up for that in our opinion. We would def recommend this hotel! :-)

Very new facility, but rooms are definitely NYC sized, meaning very small. I traveled with one other person & we had 2 full sized beds, not a lot of room for luggage. Bathroom was brand new & very comfortable to get ready in. Great location for 34th St Macy's, Bryant Park, & Times Square.

We stayed for 4 nights, it wasn't as expensive as other places yet it was very comfortable and clean , we arrived 3 hours early and they let us check in without a problem, everybody was very friendly and breakfast was really good and they served a different variety every day. Only con was that we didn't get a very good view since our room was on the 3rd floor, there are 6 rooms by floor and only 3 of them get street view, the other 3 look at the back of the Bulding , rooms aren't that big but if you are going on vacations like us you'll only go back to the hotel to shower and sleep.I think the rooms size are what you should expect for New York, we will definitely stay there again on our next visit. It's really close to herald square, Macy's ,1.5 blocks from the Empire State Bulding and a very short walking distance to the subway.

The hotel was in a central area very close to the empire state building and not far from times square. The room itself was clean, it was small but I expected that and beds were comfortable enough. I never ate at the bar/lounge they have there so I can't speak to that although the room is quite small with maybe 5 small tables. There is no parking at the hotel but there is a parking garage right down the street that you can get validated to bring the price down to about $30 a day, the garage like most it seemed in the city needs about 30 minutes notice to get your car out. I was quite disappointed in the breakfast, I had heard great things about Best Western's but had never stayed at one. If you got to the breakfast area anytime after 8:30 it was almost impossible to get a seat. There was an array of bagels and pastries and about 4 hot dishes; eggs of some sort, pancakes/french toast/waffles, some sort of breakfast meat, and oatmeal. The food was not great and we ended up eating bagels for the most part, a big part of why we stayed there was to try and avoid the cost of an extra meal otherwise I may not have cared as much. My other issue and the main one I had was that the elevators in the hotel constantly smelled of marijuana, some days it was stronger than others but the smell was almost ever present, one morning when the kitchen door opened into the breakfast area all you got was a cloud of the smell.

My wife and I enjoyed everything about the hotel with the exception that both the room and breakfast area were cramped. The staff was friendly. There was a nice variety of breakfast items for the free breakfast...some of which changed each day.We had a late flight on the day of our departure and the hotel held our luggage until we left. I happened to run into a manager one afternoon (I did not catch her name). She asked how our stay was going and then as a nice touch gave us some tourst tips. We would stay at this hotel again.

Rooms were well decorated, maintained and very comfortable. Bigger than expected for NYC! Very close to Gray Line Bus stops and easy walk to Times Square. Many restaurants, and some shopping very near hotel as well. Only disappointment was that the website shows a hot tub in fitness area, but there is not one in the hotel. Really liked that there was ice water and coffee available 24/7 in lobby. Also coffee and tea available in the rooms. Special bonus that there was decaf include for both coffee AND tea. Will definitely choose this hotel on any future trips to NYC!

Stayed one night at BW. The staff were great, breakfast was decent and room was small but very comfortable. The only thing that wasn't working was the printer at the computer terminal. No big deal.

This hotel is close to many things and places to go in walking distance. The room was waaaay smaller than I expected and had no view out the window that was the only downfall.

This hotel was perfect! I booked it after reading so many great reviews. Here is one more. Highlights: *easy to get to Drove in through Lincoln Tunnel hotel 2 blocks from there *parking available for my SUV right in garage next to hotel. $45 for 24 hours. $35 for regular cars *Great Staff! Got to city early. We got to check in early *walking distance to great shopping, Times Square, Radio City Music Hall, Rockefeller Center *nice warm breakfast LOVED IT ! We will stay again.

Came into town for weekend to shop and see the sights . Great location near Macy's and a lot of other activity . Lots of bars and resturants right within the block and close to everything else . Clean facilities. Rooms and bathroom were smaller that most we ve stayed in but that's typical of NYC . Would recommend.

Great experience at this hotel. Would stay there again.

The hospitality at the hotel was awesome! Staff members were great. Without a doubt, I will go back again! Thank you!

A very clean, comfortable hotel with an excellent staff. A very good breakfast is offered.

Bebe on the front desk was exceptional in her customer service and professionalism. Your staff from kitchen to room cleaning and maintenance was exceptionally friendly and helpful

Nice and clean. Walls thin and this noisy. XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
