Aloft Harlem

Second time staying. Wifi while free is spotty. Last visit found stained pillow case on the bed. Also given a wheelchair accessible room although I am able-bodied. The room was spacious but the clothes closet rod was too low and I am only 5'3! Cheap and convenient to the subway and a Penn Station. No restaurant but packaged foods available in the lobby area. Note you have to go downstairs to get to the entrance. There is a scary elevator connected to the hotel for folks who can't manage the steps but I would not use it.

In Harlem for my wife's conference at Columbia Univ.

Helpful getting taxie to airport....good job keeping towels and other parts of the room clean

Awesome experience. Definetly recommend. Nicest hotel in the area. Love the ambience especially the complimentary coffee and tea cappacino!

Staff was pleasant and I enjoyed my stay. The bar downstairs was also cool, I will definitely come again!

The hotel was in a great location in Harlem. The front desk staff was helpful and always available. They even provided my son with board games to play while we were in lobby area. We also enjoyed the $5 voucher we received daily for keeping our room green. The only thing we requested daily were clean towels.

Great place to see & tour Harlem. Chocolat brunch was great w/ unlimited refills on mimosas.

Great hotel esp location and room.staff was excellent. Loved the room. Walked to restaurants and movies.

Overall experience: 5 Room comfort:4, the room never got warm

The hotel was great but the area I did not liked. Everything was ok but I was felling not saved w kids walking in the subway at night.

Great accommodations ... very friendly staff ... wonderful stay. Close to many Harlem attractions!!

Honestly I wasn't expecting it to be as good as what I saw. This hotel is so good and I highly recommend it for anyone who wants to stay in Harlem temporarily or go to the city .. very nice room and very close to public transportation. !! will come back for sure. !!

Had a great little weekend get away in my own city, in a chic convient hotel tht was great for catching a near by train and also for working out. Great lounge with great music as well, definitely booking another stay here.

For the price we paid this was an excellent holiday place, very close to the station with lots of soul food around. The hotel is modern and funky and we couldn't hear any noise from the bar despite lots of people drinking downstairs. They have a great snackbar station selection and their green choice option is a brilliant idea to give you a $5 voucher in return for no housekeeping. Although they stuffed up a couple of times and forgot to give us a voucher or do our housekeeping or forgot to send up a voucher, they were very good with rectifying it when we advised them. The service is not bad, didn't find them the most welcoming of hotels in terms of greeting but they tried to help us when something would go wrong. Everything feels funky and new with an awesome room layout. Definitely would recommend it to people.

front desk staff were very nice and helpful, the room was clean and pleasent. we will stay there again .

Very interesting. Cab put me out at street curb. Had to lug luggage Down Steep Steps. Ask guy at desk where to eat, he said just walk around lol. Regular New York aloofNess.

Stayed 2 nights at Aloft. Staff friendly. Rooms small but clean.

Our one night stay was comfortable. There is no parking other than valet at the hotel, and that is more than $50, so it was pretty pricey. It was convenient for us to visit our daughter in the area. The rooms were clean and attractive. It was pretty surprising to have to go to the lobby for ice, and there is a fee for almost everything. The hotel staff was very courteous.

Pretty good for the money. I'd stay again. 8th ave is better than 125th

Ok little hotel in harlem. Its sorta smallish and the food downstairs is over priced but actual room rate was good. Not my first choice but I'd stay here again
