Had a great stay. Speedy, friendly check in. Clean and comfy rooms. Shower heads could use some updating tho.
Service was excellent, but given the age and condition of the building, I do not plan to stay there again. Several things were annoying, but taken together they added up to a less than stellar experience. *The elevators are small, and only two to serve 28 floors. This meant constantly waiting a long time, and often having the doors finally open to an already full car. This was particularly the case when checking in and out with luggage. *The water pipes were loud, emitting a high pitched whine every time it was turned on. Not just in our unit, but all the adjacent units. Between showers, sink, and flushed toilets, there was almost always some water running nearby or in out unit. It required the use of earplugs to sleep *Coffeemaker was either unplugged or not working. Could not tell because the cord ran behind the fridge, which could not be moved. To their credit, they provided a new one immediately, but on the first morning I had to go outside in the rain for coffee *The nightstand was not attached to the wall properly, so it was not level. This made the drawer roll fully open if you put anything into it, which I needed to do since the top surface was small. *Lastly, probably a personal bete noir, but the pillows were way too soft!
We have stayed here for years and like a lot about it. The location is great, rooms are spacious for Manhattan. The staff is always lovely and professional. Now for the problem. The elevators (2 for 27 floors) are chronically out of order. This time, however, we were stuck in an elevator, below the basement floor by a foot. Seven adults all in full winter gear. The staff found us, talked to us, and got us out after about ten minutes, which is great. But that’s a scary ten minutes. I was drenched in sweat by the time we got out.
Really enjoyed my stay. My room was very clean and had all the amenities. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Parking is about 20 feet away and with your stay you get a discount so make sure to get your sticker when you checkout.
I’ve stay, clean and great staff!
Convenient location, clean room but lack of usual items in the room: such as refrigerator, coffee machine, safe, water bottles, cups , etc
Keyless entry required "engineer", as did the hvac system, which was not fixed. Worked in one room - didn't work in the other. Only one of the elevators was working. Bad shape, this property was in. 9.25.23
Staff was very helpful and friendly!
I like this place because was close to the MSG, I didn’t like the room I got, next to the elevator to noisy and the room had a problem something wrong in the bathroom.
Serviceable, good location, friendly and helpful staff. Room small, maid service inconsistent in detail (may be training issue), temp. control kind of clunky
I almost didn’t book here because of some of the reviews but I’m glad I did. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with this hotel. It’s your typical Hilton brand hotel located in NYC. It’s better priced than similar hotels and you get pretty much the same experience. I would definitely book her again.
The staff were very professional, friendly, and helpful. The bed was extremely uncomfortable. You could feel that it wasn't properly supported underneath, and the base looked as if it was coming apart.
