We checked in on Monday. Our room was filthy it looks like it had a blood stain on the curtain. The TV did not work and we did not have hot water. Also one of the two elevators were broken. The staff was friendly I was supposed to say for four days but it was so bad I left after two and got another hotel down the road. I really do not recommend this a hotel it will be very disappointed

The complimentary breakfast is nice. Housekeeping was hit and miss. They made the bed and freshened the towels every day. 2 days they failed to empty the wastebaskets. The neighborhood is not the safest in NYC.

30 floors and only one working elevator. The room was so small that one bed was up against the a/c which was covered in dust. The room smelled like mildew. The staff at the front deskwas very kind and helpful. But the hotel is old and rundown. It needs to be renovated. I would not be surprised if there is black mold found. We ended up switching to another hotel after the first night.

Staff was excellent! But the property needs to be refurbished . Only 1 elevator was working, we have to ordered Towels, and toilet paper when we arrived. No drinking water available. It was very dissatisfied though is not the first time I stayed at that location. Still we had a good time.

The location of this property is great. The staff was very nice and helpful. The hotel interior is pretty run down; particularly the rooms/carpet. The A/C units did not run well. Even at max level the room was still warm. The elevators were at max capacity and could take as long as 15 minutes -- which just may be a function of what happens on weekends. For the price, I expected more from the interior. But I will reiterate that the staff was really helpful, attentive, and quick.

Really good deal for the location, and breakfast included. The staff was quite lovely. My only complaint is that there was terrible condensation on the floor around the air conditioning and the carpet felt wet and moldy.

Excellent location and reasonably priced rooms. Free buffet was great and staff were very friendly.

The room was clean but a very tight squeeze. There was only one employee at check in time so there was a wait at the counter because they were helping one member for a long time.

I would stay here again. Nice staff, great location, nice choices for breakfast. An extra pair of towels would be nice. No garbage pick up service. Having bags in the room would help if clients need to put their garbage outside. I would stay there again

The room was small, bathroom mirror had a crack in it, but that didn’t really bother us.. the worst part was upon checkout they refused to hold my 1 carry on suitcase!!! My boyfriend and I had to wheel luggage around NYC on the last day of vacation. Really ended on a low note. I will not be staying at another Hampton Inn.

This was my second time staying at this hotel. The last being in 2017. The difference in the hotel is night and day. It is falling apart. Various broken and stained items in the room. This was my second and last time staying at this hotel. I realize times have been terribly hard coming out of Covid. I don’t blame the staff for the issues. I know they are doing the best they can with limited staff and resources.

Location

We really liked the safety feature at their front door. The staff was very kind and accommodating to our needs. It was close enough to several subway entrances, with a walk a few blocks.

Really good deal for the location, and breakfast included. The staff was quite lovely. My only complaint is that there was terrible condensation on the floor around the air conditioning and the carpet felt wet and moldy.
