The staff at the front desk were very friendly and the room was a great size considering we were in NYC. A little tip though don’t count on the rooftop bar for a late night drink it closes at 11pm sharp.

Front desk RJ and Janelli (sp?) bent over backwards to remedy a small issue we had with our room. (I’m highly allergic to feathers. The late check-in to our room complicated the feather-free request.) They were cognizant, considerate and proactive. It is only because of these two working that night that I would come back to this property. The daytime front desk staff the next afternoon, on the other hand, couldn’t be bothered with graciousness nor kindness towards the hotel guests. I despise having to look at the tops of heads when I’m standing there. At least acknowledge and provide a “good afternoon…I’ll be right with you.”

The location is great. Very close to theaters and subway. There’s a lovely rooftop bar. The rooms are small and not what one would expect for the price. We visited over the Christmas holidays and the hotel was at capacity. There was never enough towels on the housekeeping cart, and we had to share 3 towels between 4 people.

Overall good location Breakfast on roof top restaurant was great. Good variety of breakfast options, great staff service We had a corner room on 3rd floor. Not worth the extra price we paid. Would be better on higher floor. Our room had weird chemical or stuffy smell. If you are sensitive to that, it would be hard to ignore. 3rd floor is near the street level, you will hear a lot of noise from the street. We couldn't change our room. It was very hard to ask for room change. Front-desk staff is not very welcoming. We used hotel car service to the airport, price is comparable to Uber and convenient when you're in a rush. I would give it 5 stars for location that is central to where we needed to go 4 stars for breakfast options and 5 stars wait staff Free wine Happy hour was nice. 3 stars for front-desk team Overall 3 of 5 stars experience
