Sheraton Tribeca New York Hotel

When I booked online the room and hotel looked like a very fancy hotel. When we got there. I was dissapointed however, the hotel staff were so helpful and nice. The heater in our room wasnt working too well. We told the front desk and someone came up immediately. We also needed more stuff for the room and again houskeeping came up immediately. I would recommend on bases of the staff. The hotel wasnt as nice as I thought it was going to be, but thats just me. My husband did enjoy it.

Hotel was a nice option that is reasonably priced and is a good location to access much of NYC without being in the bustle of uptown. Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. It was perfect for our purposes. The only negative was our experience in the restaurant. We were very bothered by being charged a 20% service charge in the restaurant we were not charging to our room bill. There was a statement in tiny print at the bottom of the menu that we did not see. While it is ordinary and expected to pay such a fee for room service, or possibly in a remote resort location where no other businesses are available, it seems very odd to charge this to an ordinary patron of the restaurant. The food was fine, but our evening was marred by this charge and the managers refusal to accommodate or even acknowledge the legitimacy of our concern. We recommend the hotel, but beware of the additional fees at the restaurant. If a tip is warranted it will mean a 40% premium to your meal!

No issues with hotel. Basic room all good condition. New construction several years ago so little wear and tear. Inexpensive as far as NYC is concerned and good location for us. Near lots of subway stops along Canal St if you are from out of town.

We had a wedding in Tribeca to attend and chose to stay at this hotel. It did not disappoint. The absolute only thing we didn't like was that there was no refrigerator in the room and with so many great places to eat we were always returning with leftovers and no way to save them! The starbucks coffee in the rooms was an EXCELLENT choice that put this facility over the top. The staff was attentive and just WONDERFUL. We loved our housekeeper. She was so sweet and attended to our every request (extra coffee!!) The shower was incredible! Warm, spacious! We seriously could only have been happier with a fridge!

I was totally pleased with my stay. The room was small but very comfortable, clean, well-designed and appealing to the eye. It had a nice view of Tribeca and all of the furniture and fixtures in the room were in tip-top condition. The hotel staff was extremely polite and helpful, incredibly attentive and responsive -- they gave very good customer service. They also recommended places to get food and coffee. My biggest complaint was that the room was a little small, didn't have a fridge or microwave, the bathroom was a little tight, etc. But I don't really care -- I'm a young guy and I was traveling alone. Great hotel.

This was my first time in NYC and this hotel has the perfect location. The hotel is extremely well kept and room was awesome. The staff were amazing and helped me with any need. I would only stay here for anymore trips to New York!

Someone search our luggages store at the front desk area... nothing lost but felt bad

ALWAYS A GREAT STAY IN NYC...CONVENIENT TO TRIBECA SHOPPING...RESTAURANTS...SUBWAY

Great experience for our first trip to NY. Excellent location to all the shopping. The subway is just a short walk away to wherever you want to go in the city. We walked to the 911 memorial from the hotel. Would recommend staying. Excellent breakfast next door at Tribeca Bagel shop.

This was our second time staying at this hotel. This time the room was much smaller but we did have a nice view of Midtown Manhattan. There are two subway lines located close to this hotel. The A - C (Blue) line which is right next door down South on West Broadway and the 6 (Green) which is East on Canal Street. The 6 has elevators for both Downtown and Uptown trains which was great for us because we had a stroller. We'll be back at this location. No complaints.

This hotel's staff was outstanding engaging with guests to help with needs and questions. They went beyond duties to help you. The location was great for our needs in Tribeca, Soho, and China town. Safe feeling around the area.

The staff was attentive and friendly, the facilities clean, big balcony but the room was very small.

From the moment you walk in, you think they were there just for you. The staff treated us like royalty, and catered to whatever we needed. We wanted an extra pillow and while in the lobby mentioned it to someone at the desk. Before we even made it upstairs, the pillow was in our room. The young gentleman at the desk, Nicolas, bent over backwards for us as we wanted to extend our stay. Our room was already reserved for the extra day we wanted, so he extended our checkout until 4PM so he could move incoming guests around to accommodate us. Our room was clean and fresh smelling and very comfortable. A nice room, with a great price, in a great location, with a totally great staff, what more can you ask for. We will definitely return to now our favorite hotel in the downtown area.

My heat was not working properly and my lamp light fixtures gave me a little shock several time when turning them on.

All the workers at the hotel were extremely nice. Everything was clean, everyone was nice, everything was just great.

Great hotel, Club level worth the extra cost. We had a beautiful view of the empire state building

Very nice room. Comfortable bed and pillows! Staff friendly and helpful. Deli next door very convenient

The room was well appointed and the front desk staff was excellent. We opted for the Green stay, which meant no housekeeping, but for a short stay that seemed reasonable and kinder to the planet. The HVAC did leave a bit to be desired, as it was sometimes difficult to keep the room sufficiently cool and dry. One caveat -- be sure to use the valet parking service at the front of the hotel. Their parking lot is not on site, and it is very tough to find. One other thing to be aware of is that there's no dresser, just an armoire. So unpacking can be interesting if you're there for a long stay.

Went to NYC to see Phantom of the Opera. Stayed on Upper East Side first night, then traveled down to Tribeca. Not impressed with Tribeca area but Soho is nearby which was really awesome! Great shopping and restaurants!
