Great location and very walkable area. The rooms are comfortable. Everything was great about this hotel except for the included breakfast. This was by far the poorest ‘hotel breakfast’ I have had. It’s unfortunate given how nice the hotel is in every other way.

My room in this historic hotel was spacious, clean, comfortable (good A/C when temps were close to 100!) and quiet. The front desk staff could not have been lovelier and graciously accommodated my last-minute request for late check-out. Parking provided right behind the hotel and the small park across the street was perfect for the dog. The location is convenient but the immediate surroundings are not pretty, given street work and proximity to the highway. Note that access into hotel from parking lot is via a narrow, steep ramp that was extremely tricky to navigate with a loaded luggage cart.

The staff at the hotel were very pleasant and helpful. The linens were changed every day and the room was spotless. Certain parts of the rooms could use some updating (phones), the tv system was a bit of a pain and the bed took up a lot of space and I kept hitting my shins on the corners. Other than that, I really liked it there.

Excellent all around! This was our first time staying here as our usual hotel was booked up, but the Parkview will now be our number one choice when visiting Syracuse! Easy/quick check in with very friendly staff. Our room and bathroom were spotless and very comfortable. Ample well-lit parking behind the hotel and only a few minutes drive to Destiny mall and NBT stadium. Thanks, Parkview for a great stay- we will be back!

The Parkview is a very pleasant, affordable place to stay in Syracuse. The rooms were very clean and they were spacious enough. We would have preferred queen beds to doubles but for a couple of nights it was fine. The small lobby is charming, as is the Art Deco vibe of the place. The parking lot is free and convenient. Staff was lovely. It was a three-minute drive to the University. I highly recommend this place!

Great stay!!
I was a bit skeptical about booking this hotel as I booked it after 10pm on the nite of my stay only because all of of my normal go to hotels were sold out. Wow!! What a great stay. It felt more like an apartment than a hotel room. Great, friendly staff, too. I will stay there again, for sure.

The staff is lovely. However when I checked in my sheets had stains, and my A/c was irritating my throat and the room smelled moldy. When I went to adjust the a/c settings I saw that the change filter light is on. The toilet also looks like it needs changing or better cleaning agents because the bowl was stained.
