The Hotel is well located very close of the Huatulco Downtown.The staff is very friendly and courteous. If you go there take a taxi outside the airport, the fee is less with them, than the taxis in the interior of the airport.
The private beach area they have was a short shuttle ride away and packed with screaming families, which made it far from relaxing. We also stayed here in New Years Eve and the central event music blared until 4am (1 or 2am, I can understand, but 4am?) There seemed to be a lot of Mexican families, so perhaps it’s just a cultural difference? I can understand til 4am for a bar, but for a hotel with lots of families it seemed odd. We’re also not all-inclusive hotel people, but more boutique hotel with unique experiences, so that part also fell flat. (My sister aptly noted that it felt like we were on cruise boat on land.) In the end, we were trying to book a place super late and this was one of the only ones open, so we were mostly fine with just being able to find a place to stay, but not even getting to get a good night of sleep was really disappointing. Especially for the price tag.
Night show performance is awesome! The buffet has a wide variety of dishes including the one of kids.
Beautiful hidden gem if you are looking for quite, calm get-away with amazingly delicious food cooked by on-site chef and served by friendly staff.
I got exactly what I was looking for: a no stress vacation . As a single traveler, I felt safe and cared for. The grounds were lovely. I liked that the landscaping had signs with the botanical names of the plants. The staff were lovely and attentive, without being annoying. The room was clean and spacious. The pool was clean. The food was plentiful, with lots of fresh vegetables and fruit. When I wanted something that was not on the buffet, I simply asked for it, and it arrived. The performers for the evening shows were energetic and sincere. I can't wait to go back. I do wish the pool hand hand railings for those of us who are less agile than we would like to be.
