Everything was beautiful and the staff were amazing. The entertainment was not nearly as good as it has been for the years I have been going to the RIU hotels which was a little disappointing. Also the buffet restaurant was not as good as previous years. But all in all I still had a great time.

The trip from the airport is about 20 minutes. We booked our transportation through Expedia but I am sure there are better financial options including making arrangements with the resort. We arrived before the 3PM check-in and our room was not ready but we were given wrist bands so that we had complete access to the property. When the room was ready our luggage was delivered to our room. I enjoyed the food choices at the buffet but could see how a person might get tired of the options if you were staying a week. The restaurants in the evening are a first come first served so you need to get in line at 5:15 to make sure you get in. If you don't then you might be able to get in around 7-7:30. We only went to the steakhouse and was not impressed with steak. However the service you receive no matter where you eat is exceptional. In fact all of the workers worked hard to make your stay pleasant. Gris checked us in and out and happened to be the one that answered our questions or resolve any issues we had. So we were very grateful to her but I am confident that all staff would have done the same. Although checkout was at 11:00 they again let us store our luggage and have access to the facilities until our departure at 1:15.The entertainment was just average but no different than what you would see at any other resort. This also a family resort so if you are not into the noise that comes with children that are having fun than you better look elsewhere.Great time will return.

Did t like that I didn’t get two beds for me and 25 yr old son put us in a king then got them to switch us 2 days later which caused us to miss a day to enjoy had to check out at 11 o’clock and wait till room was ready at 3, very disappointed this visit if not goin to give us beds requested why bother asking!
