Food was terrible

This is the WORST ALL INCLUSIVE HOTEL I'VE EVER STAYED AT!!! HOW IS THIS A 5 STAR HOTEL??LEAKING FLOORS, MOLD, AND RIPPED FURNITURE. You guys REALLY NEED TO UPDATE THE ROOMS!!! FIX THE LEAKING ROOF, THE MOLD, AND REPLACE FURNITURE!!! People pay $$$ every day to stay at this hotel and you can't at the very least fix the roof and put in newer furniture? Here's my experience during the travel in Sep 2022. We were traveling with family and booked 3 rooms. All rooms had issues! The first room that we were supposed to check in had water on floor that was leaking from the roof, they checked us into another room that smelled moldy, had actual mold, there was no fans in the bathroom, and ripped couch. 5 stars? I don't think so! Rest of the family also had same issues. Next day I requested to be moved to another room because I had a headache from the mold. They did offer to move us to a little better room (junior suite) but no ocean view. They moved us and my parents. The rooms were better, however they got flooded the next day from the rain. So they finally offered to move us to family selection (towards the end of the trip) at no charge. At first they said we'd have to pay extra and I said I'm not paying a dime more... I found there's a lot of miscommunication and different front desk people telling different things. Their manager Julia was a little more understanding, but I wish those issues were treated from beginning, because we couldn't enjoy our vacation.

We stayed 11 nights. I can’t say enough about the service. Anytime we needed anything it was taken care of immediately. The food was incredible. Omelets in the morning were excellent and the shrimp was always available and always fresh and delicious. The resort is built on a hillside so be aware there are some hills to climb no matter where you go. Nothing terrible but would be something to consider if you have mobility issues. The beach is beautiful too but there are stairs to get to it. There is also a small zoo in the middle of the resort. Cutest monkeys. All in all a great stay. Would definitely return.

Check in was easy. All the staff was very helpful. Never had to ask twice. They were always asking if how everything is. Beach is gorgeous. Great views. Only negative is that the resort is starting to show its age with a lot of cracks in walls, paint worn and some concrete needs replacing. Maybe a update in the rooms. But the food and staff were great

I like the area very quiet, but the only thing I don’t like was the night show need more seat chairs and there’s a lot of posts that block the view from the bar,

Terrible Customer Service very rude and no communication with guests.

The rooms need more maintenance. Especially the restrooms. The handles in the bathtub are loose. Anyone can fall and have serious injuries.

The staff were beyond rude to my partner/I and not helpful at all with my father in law and his partner. They needed extra help getting around and understanding how to use their phones to scan the restaurant menus. We had to check out the next day and pay twice as much at another resort instead. Very disappointed and was not even offered a sincere apology, much less a refund. I would DEFINITELY not recommend this resort. Look elsewhere!! This was a waste of time and money.

The way it is divided up makes it so you can enjoy different things without being bothered by things you don't enjoy. Restaurants were all good. Nightly entertainment wasn't the best.

The private beach was awesome. We went into town to visit another property while we were there, and the beach was packed. This is a very. Ice place to stay and relax.

Check in was a little rough secondary to some booking issues. However, things only got better from that point on. Wonderful staff. Good restaurants. Comfortable beds. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
