Everything we expected for our money. We stayed for a week and wished we could have stayed longer. The staff was great at the service at the pool was top notch. Ask for Eduardo and you will be treated like a king.

Make sure you ask for the extra padding on the beds! They are hard as concrete... other than that, it's a beautiful and great hotel. The restaurant(s) food/staff was great. Felt like I had the place all to myself. Make sure you ask for Oscar and Eduardo at poolside, they'll take great care of you!!

Beautiful hotel, with great rooms. Stayed in 2 Bedroom Villa (2 BR, 3 BA) for our family of 6, including 4 children. Staff is very good, and attentive. Food is very good, especially for hotels that offer an all-inclusive option. Did all-inclusive. Not sure whether pricing worked out as we have some children which are finicky with food, and do not eat very much, and we have to bring some food on our own. That being said, the food is good, and having ability to order room service 24 hours a day was great, especially for breakfast and having it all delivered in morning. All inclusive also includes ability to get boogie boards, paddle boards, and more. One tip on all-inclusive. Supposedly tips are included, but all staff will continually look for tips regardless. You just need to budget that in to your spending. Don't need to give a typical US tip, but providing additional money either on the bill or in cash becomes very helpful in staff continuing to be attentive. that being said, except for one disappointing dining experience with some staff, our family was very satisfied with the staff. that being said, there are options for food in nearby towns of Bucerias and La Cruz, and you can always go into Nueva Vallarta or further into Puerto Vallarta for activities as well. Beach is just plain amazing. great sand, and wide, and with one side of the hotel having nothing close for a half mile, and other side is the Flamingos sister hotel where you can also use their pool facilities, children's activities, or restaurants.

Estancia is our favorite place to stay when traveling to Nuevo Vallarta. The staff is beyond friendly and helpful. From the second you come in the door and they say, "Welcome Home" until you leave, you feel as those they are truly happy to have you there. The resort is incredibly beautiful and well maintained. We've been here several times and it IS our favorite place to come too!

This was the best of both worlds, upscale beautiful hotel with an attentive staff perfect for a quiet, relaxing pampered vacation. Meanwhile, next door at the adjacent sister hotel, Flamingos, you had all the activities, noise and parties your children might like. While on property, we did not get asked once about time shares, or pressed to go on tours etc. Next door at the Flamingos, every other person was a salesman. The staff was simply amazing. From the front desk, to the pool bar, to the pool attendants; always the right level of care; not too much, never too little. There was only one restaurant but it was very good. Better to have one excellent restaurant than 4 bad ones. You could also get lunch and snacks at the pool bar or go next door for three additional choices, which the kids enjoyed. The spa services were very reasonable and amazing: dry sauna, steam room, rain showers, jacuzzi, cold pool and monsoon shower all with an attendant bringing you cool towels and refreshing flavored ice waters.....and that is just while you are waiting for your spa treatment. Gym was very nice with a good selection of cardio, weights and machines. very clean like the rest of the hotel. Wonderful stay. we will be back .

Loved our stay, quiet and luxurious. One thing that is useful to know, though: Even though tips are included a couple dollars here and there go a long way for next level, over the top service

Beautiful location at the very end of the hotels in Nuevo Vallarta so more secluded and quiet, rooms are gorgeous and HUGE! Nice beach. The staff went out of their way to make our stay more comfortable and really made it feel like we were "home". There were a couple of minor hiccups but the staff made them disappear with the most sweet attitude. For example our first room was close to the restaurant and was kind of loud, they moved us without any problems. Next, my father accidentally got stuck in the elevator (it broke) for a short period of time. The management was responsive, understanding, and caring and went above and beyond making sure everything was ok without him having to push. Staff remembered our names and were genuinely interested in how we were etc. I took my parents there for a first time trip and they were practically ready to buy a condo! The only down side is being so far away from downtown PV, but that has advantages too. There are only 4 onsite restaurants (with sister property next door), but all are good quality.

The hotel is very well situated to access beach without the vendors. Grounds are immaculate. The annoyances come when you cannot drive your car into the garage; wait for somebody to pick it up for you, etc. Food was excellent but much too expansive for Mexico.. However, comfort & services are at the 4* level.

I bought a all inclusive package and when I get there, I didn't have any package, besides this, everything was perfect.

Villas are fantastic. The food was great but very slow service.

Perfect weather, wonderful staff--best I have ever encountered, stunning view,

Everything was very good and as advertised. There were no real surprises or "gotchas" between the pictures and write-up's compared to reality like you get at some other resorts. Suites were large and wonderful. Best We've seen in Mexico. Grounds were clean and pretty. Food was very good; pool was warm and large, swim up bar was nice and staff overall was helpful and friendly. Only negatives: Service in restaurant is terribly slow. Every dinner took over 2 hours (too long with kids)! There is a 15% service charge for every room service dining (even with "all-inclusive) which was not clearly explained. Got to love unlimited room service, though!!! Parent note: Aside from the pool and beach, there are not a ton of things for young kids to do.

The condos were wonderful as were all the facilities. The food was lacking but maybe that is just Mexico. I would recommend Villa La Estancia to anyone. I would not do the all inclusive food package. Wonderful staff, very friendly.

Villa La Estanica is an amazing Resort and Spa. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for some peace and quiet. It is about 30 minutes from downtown Puerto Vallarta and a walking distance to Bucerias. We loved our stay there our only regret was participating in the Timeshare program to get the discount. The 10% off was not worth the 3hours of vacation time. They tell you it only takes an hour, but it takes longer - DON'T DO IT for any deal.

Villa La Estancia was incredible all the amazing reviews were true. With high expectations due to other reviews read online VLE came through with great people, service and food. The room was very clean and classy with a great balcony and breathtaking view to go with it. We did the all inclusive and it was like none other place we've been to. Coming from a home where my father is a Professional Chef for over 30 yrs working in Beverly Hills his whole life and my mother a cook for 26 years I can say this all inclusive was like none other the Food and Drinks were AWESOME not bland and pitiful like most other all inclusive resorts. Only one thing I could think of needed attn and most may not considering its a vacation spot, but I'm a big techy and the int is something I like to use more than most and it was rather difficult since there was no WiFi in our room, the signal would only reach the pool area. I commented and recommended solutions for this so hopefully they will take action. For those who carry laptops there are Ethernet connections in each room, but for most that like using more sophisticated pieces of equipment that only use WiFi you'll have to hang out by the pool. To finish this review I have to recognize the concierge that took care of everything we could possibly want her name is Liliana Lagos and she was amazing from booking our excursions to answering our smallest questions she made us feel right at home.

Great resort but could use some simple fixes. - the all-inclusive is the best option, but they still make you sign for everything, which is a drag - the hotel needs an activity agent, because the front desk knows very little about the activites

We had a wonderful stay at Villa La Estancia - Nuevo Vallarta. A few complaints we have were the following: (1) Pool Bar Service was fine when you are in the lower level of the Pool area where servers can see you but if you are on the other side of them or the upper level-- the servers hardly go up there and you WAIT and WAIT for service. What we gathered was the servers were instructed by the Pool Bar manager to concentrate and provide service to the customers that are seated at the dining area, even if we had flagged them a few times already. We believe the service should be equally provided everywhere and anywhere you are in the pool area. The manager should not let customers wait for a long time. 20 minutes is a long time to wait for a food service, it was unacceptable and very frustrating. The servers were fine (Manuel and Mavi) and apologetic however they can't accommodate us as much as they want due to manager's instructions. (2) The Pool Concierge was also not much of a help, his service was also concentrated to the lower section of the pool making you feel that the rest of the guests didn't matter. (3) Some staff are not knowledgeable and inconsistent with infomration. (4) The bed is hard and the pillows are too soft (almost no support) made it hard to sleep. On the bright side: The property is beautiful and clean. Garden is well manicured but it gets very windy in the afternoon. We enjoyed the friendly staff [...] and [...] at front desk are great as well as [...] and [...] at the Pool Bar; we also love the ladies that cleaned the room daily and provided the turn down treats... they are very nice and efficient.

This hotel is fabulous, its our second time back and it did not disappoint! The hotel is situated on a beautiful strech of beach, the facilites are great, and well maintained. The rooms are beautiful, we were on a high floor over looking the ocean, all rooms face ocean or pool. The staff is first class there is very friendy and can not do enough to serve you. Given the price its a steal. Only negatives are you can not check in until 4- 4:30 , relaxing by the pool is fine.

Check in time was 4 PM. We didn't get into our rooms until 5:30 PM. They told us to come back to the front desk at 4 PM. We came back at 3:45 PM and they told us to come back at 4:30 PM. We came back at 4:40 PM and they told us to come back at 5:15 PM. Dining options were limited so we inquired about all inclusive. They were not very helpful about the all inclusive. Finally we did all inclusive but at the sister resort right next door. They checked us out before we had lunch on the last day even though they said that they wouldn't.

Cannnot think of anything negative about this place. It ended up being better than the pictures online. It was such a nice place all around that we decided to not do any excursions, just hung out on the property, relaxing. Only complaint, and it is a small one, is that communication was not always good. This is not referring to the language barrier but more to their not sharing enough information, explanations, directions, etc. We will definitely return!
