We had good service and the hotel is beautiful. Will return for longer time!

Most guests were renting from owners of time share including us. Offered perks if take sales tour. Fantastic location on beach & easy walk to Bucerias. Food on site very good. Access to sister resort next door. Great resort.

Stayed in the smallest lowest cost room. It had 2 queen beds and a standard hotel room layout. Balcony was unfortunatly a shared one, with your neighbors able to walk up to your bedroom. Beds were very comfy. Next room upgrade wasover $100. Additional per night but from what we saw might have been worth it if you want a living room and a kitchen All inclusive was really the way to go! Food was absolutely amazing. As good as Ive seen anywhere. Staff were extremely friendly and service was abundant everywhere!

Hotel and Orbitz represented the room as Luxury Guite suite with two bedrooms. It was actually two separate guest rooms with separate card key entrances that are both accessed by a common door to an exterior entrance. The common door had a card key that no longer functioned, the deadbolt when thrown just unlocked from the outside, so the second bedroom which was intended for the two children one o which was nine years old was not used from the first day we were there. a separate guestroom in Mexico, that opens to the outside? I don't think so. I don't think any reasonable parent would let their child stay in a separate room in another country either! The hotel and Orbitz had this explained to them at length and they have done nothing to alleviate the issue. This is a ridiculous situation the sliding glass door in the suite didn't lock either. I will never stay at this Hotel or use Orbitz again. The people were pleasant, but apparently only paid lip service to my issue i raised on the first and every day I was there. The Hotel was really with exception to having a beach nothing special and was not near any place i wanted to go. Stay in Puerto Vallarta if you go. Good job Orbitz

Loved it!!! Great swim up bar and beach. Oscar will take care of all of your lounge and towel needs!!

One of the best places my husband and I have stayed in. Perfect for a romantic getaway.

The hotel, rooms and grounds were kept very well. Beautiful views and overall accommodations were great. Cons; 1. Premium stocked mini bar available upon request did not exist!!! Called room service and concierge and both stated they don't offer!! (Stated on their website as available) 2. Free Wifi?? Yes in the lobby or common areas not in your room!!! 3. Only 2 bars on the whole property and nothing open till 10am or after 1am. One bar is at the pool and the other in their steakhouse restaurant. The pool one has NO walk up access and the other is a small walk up in the restaurant. NOT convenient!!!! 4. Probably the most annoying is that you have to sign for EVERYTHING!!! Just getting one beer, wait you need to sign- tip, total, room number, signature, print name!!! So annoying!!! 5. Food was just good nothing great! Pros: 1. Grounds and rooms 2. Manuel the server at the pool was AWESOME!!! He was the only person that went above and beyond exceeding our expectations. Everyone else was hit or mess. He was awesome every single day. Thank you Manuel you made our trip great, from your big tippers from Las Vegas!!! 3. Gym and spa

The actual resort is beautiful. We had a one bedroom and it was spacious and clean but we won't go again because of the shared balcony. When we read reviews we knew that there was a shared space but nothing could have prepared us for the nightmare of the people next to us. We are a family of 4 (two teenage kids). The neighbors were a family of 4 w/2 small children. That wasn't even the problem though. The parents were. They were fighting constantly. Every night there was a drunken emotional argument that sometimes went until 4:00 a.m. Some nights we were worried they were being violent w/each other. I will never go back. It doesn't seem like a big deal to share a space but you never know who you will be stuck with. It's not worth it.

Everything we expected for our money. We stayed for a week and wished we could have stayed longer. The staff was great at the service at the pool was top notch. Ask for Eduardo and you will be treated like a king.

Make sure you ask for the extra padding on the beds! They are hard as concrete... other than that, it's a beautiful and great hotel. The restaurant(s) food/staff was great. Felt like I had the place all to myself. Make sure you ask for Oscar and Eduardo at poolside, they'll take great care of you!!

Beautiful hotel, with great rooms. Stayed in 2 Bedroom Villa (2 BR, 3 BA) for our family of 6, including 4 children. Staff is very good, and attentive. Food is very good, especially for hotels that offer an all-inclusive option. Did all-inclusive. Not sure whether pricing worked out as we have some children which are finicky with food, and do not eat very much, and we have to bring some food on our own. That being said, the food is good, and having ability to order room service 24 hours a day was great, especially for breakfast and having it all delivered in morning. All inclusive also includes ability to get boogie boards, paddle boards, and more. One tip on all-inclusive. Supposedly tips are included, but all staff will continually look for tips regardless. You just need to budget that in to your spending. Don't need to give a typical US tip, but providing additional money either on the bill or in cash becomes very helpful in staff continuing to be attentive. that being said, except for one disappointing dining experience with some staff, our family was very satisfied with the staff. that being said, there are options for food in nearby towns of Bucerias and La Cruz, and you can always go into Nueva Vallarta or further into Puerto Vallarta for activities as well. Beach is just plain amazing. great sand, and wide, and with one side of the hotel having nothing close for a half mile, and other side is the Flamingos sister hotel where you can also use their pool facilities, children's activities, or restaurants.

Estancia is our favorite place to stay when traveling to Nuevo Vallarta. The staff is beyond friendly and helpful. From the second you come in the door and they say, "Welcome Home" until you leave, you feel as those they are truly happy to have you there. The resort is incredibly beautiful and well maintained. We've been here several times and it IS our favorite place to come too!

This was the best of both worlds, upscale beautiful hotel with an attentive staff perfect for a quiet, relaxing pampered vacation. Meanwhile, next door at the adjacent sister hotel, Flamingos, you had all the activities, noise and parties your children might like. While on property, we did not get asked once about time shares, or pressed to go on tours etc. Next door at the Flamingos, every other person was a salesman. The staff was simply amazing. From the front desk, to the pool bar, to the pool attendants; always the right level of care; not too much, never too little. There was only one restaurant but it was very good. Better to have one excellent restaurant than 4 bad ones. You could also get lunch and snacks at the pool bar or go next door for three additional choices, which the kids enjoyed. The spa services were very reasonable and amazing: dry sauna, steam room, rain showers, jacuzzi, cold pool and monsoon shower all with an attendant bringing you cool towels and refreshing flavored ice waters.....and that is just while you are waiting for your spa treatment. Gym was very nice with a good selection of cardio, weights and machines. very clean like the rest of the hotel. Wonderful stay. we will be back .

Loved our stay, quiet and luxurious. One thing that is useful to know, though: Even though tips are included a couple dollars here and there go a long way for next level, over the top service

Beautiful location at the very end of the hotels in Nuevo Vallarta so more secluded and quiet, rooms are gorgeous and HUGE! Nice beach. The staff went out of their way to make our stay more comfortable and really made it feel like we were "home". There were a couple of minor hiccups but the staff made them disappear with the most sweet attitude. For example our first room was close to the restaurant and was kind of loud, they moved us without any problems. Next, my father accidentally got stuck in the elevator (it broke) for a short period of time. The management was responsive, understanding, and caring and went above and beyond making sure everything was ok without him having to push. Staff remembered our names and were genuinely interested in how we were etc. I took my parents there for a first time trip and they were practically ready to buy a condo! The only down side is being so far away from downtown PV, but that has advantages too. There are only 4 onsite restaurants (with sister property next door), but all are good quality.

The hotel is very well situated to access beach without the vendors. Grounds are immaculate. The annoyances come when you cannot drive your car into the garage; wait for somebody to pick it up for you, etc. Food was excellent but much too expansive for Mexico.. However, comfort & services are at the 4* level.

I bought a all inclusive package and when I get there, I didn't have any package, besides this, everything was perfect.

Villas are fantastic. The food was great but very slow service.

Perfect weather, wonderful staff--best I have ever encountered, stunning view,

Everything was very good and as advertised. There were no real surprises or "gotchas" between the pictures and write-up's compared to reality like you get at some other resorts. Suites were large and wonderful. Best We've seen in Mexico. Grounds were clean and pretty. Food was very good; pool was warm and large, swim up bar was nice and staff overall was helpful and friendly. Only negatives: Service in restaurant is terribly slow. Every dinner took over 2 hours (too long with kids)! There is a 15% service charge for every room service dining (even with "all-inclusive) which was not clearly explained. Got to love unlimited room service, though!!! Parent note: Aside from the pool and beach, there are not a ton of things for young kids to do.
