Pools were good, I didn’t like the fact that they trick you into a meeting to sell you time share and take up a lot off time out off your vacation and are very pushy to sell.

The property was fairly decent overall. Bigger than anticipated. Our room was pretty cool! We had a family suit. It was basically a two floor, two bedroom 3 bathroom villa. Only complaint about it was that it was on the farthest wind in the very corner. Was a trek to get anywhere. My biggest complaint is the food. Very basic. Nothing special about it. We were able to make reservations via email before arrival so we didn’t struggle with not getting in somewhere. I recommend doing this for sure. Although, the email exchange took days for a response!

at the time of the check in, they try to offer membership and all the packets they have, I said I was not interested, and the atention and good vibe disapear, they did not continue with the proper info i need, where was my room located how to reach it, what time the services ends etc, it was like you are not interested me neither. After this, i have a good time. its clean, but the all inclusive is limited and the food is close to early. Overall, nice place.

Staff seems to cater more to club members. While at the pool no wait staff offered beverages.

The outside of the property is immaculate and so pretty. Great access to a great beach. The rooms are very dated. We had a "suite" beach front. The air conditioner kind of worked. We did call to let them know and they did show up promptly and assured us that it was working. Well, it waa the wrong remote for the air conditioner. The safes are ancient. They pressure you too much when you first get there to buy adventures and activities. They also want you buy a time share at their property.

Have been coming to Marival for last five years. In the past, we have recommended Marival to family and friends. This time, the rooms were not cleaned daily (we do not request the sheets to be changed except once in 7 nights). The floors were dirty, the changing of towels was inconsistent ( had to chase down maid to get shower floor mat every day). Food had always been very good with plenty of selections. Way less diversity in menus this stay. The specialty night was sooo overcrowded that you had to wait for over 15 minutes to get a soft burrito shell. The bicycles have always been a highlight but the bicycles were in VERY poor condition, i.e., seats, handle bars, (almost no baskets on any bikes). VERY disappointing stay. I brought 14 people and purchased 5 rooms. I was VERY disappointed.

Not worth the money. Lovely staff and beach is excellent. Rooms are in need of update. Bed was lumpy. Food was horrible. We had no hot water 3 days.
