Beautiful and relax

We love how relax we were in this place. Room was great, clean and a lot of space for the four of us. Food was delicious. Love the buffalo cauliflower. The cocktails were nicely made and delicious. They had a lot of activities for the kids and parents. Thank you Edith and the team for all the fun activities. All employees look happy and always really helpful.

Staff and cleanliness was incredible. Even though it’s a newer hotel, it seems a little dated. And lack of places to eat is the only reason I didn’t give 5 stars. Only a tepan place and one buffet. And it seems that just about everything is closed down by 9:00. But the beach club and everything else was pretty amazing. Love that it has more of a jungle vibe rather than beachfront which is different for us. Would definitely consider going back.

Actually composing a review because I went down the same rabbit hole you are doing right now. Noticed a lot of 10 out of 10’s when doing our research, then looked at all the bad reviews and started to question whether or not we should go here (as those reviews were obviously drastically different). After a week spent, I can tell you that (as far as all-inclusives go) this place is awesome. It’s not a big party scene, you don’t get those super cheesy entertainment dances every night, but it’s high-quality, the food is actually good, and the pools are amazing. Most of them are heated, which is surprisingly needed this time of year (winter 2025) And the staff are top notch. Likely due to it being a Delta Marriott, they must have specific standards they need to meet. It is the perfect all inclusive resort if you are wanting to unwind, relax, and spend a week by pools and a mellow beach.

This is such an awesome stay. Everyone works here are super friendly and approachable. Plus, they seem to be happy working there. I would give all the employees there 10 stars if I can. The room is spacious and the pool is warm. There are different food options but the buffet menu doesn't really change. Overall still good food and you will definitely be fed well.

We had a great experience at this resort. The staff is so very accommodating and eager to assist you. Everyone from the bell boys/golf cart guys to the housekeeping, front desk and service staff were excellent. During our 10 day stay, we had two issues that I won't mention here, only because the resort staff were extremely quick to respond and go above & beyond to make it right. The property is very cool and offers a unique jungle resort experience while still having the option to go to the beach club. The food at the Japanese teppanyaki was extremely buttery and salty but we found the food at the buffet and Media restaurant to be very good. We enjoyed all the pools and hot tubs. We only wished the hot tubs had been quite a lot warmer in the evenings. We will be back!

The property is beautiful and quiet but what was truly remarkable was the staff. The entire hotel staff was amazing from the front desk to the bartenders at the pool and housekeeping. I do not remember a resort that was so accommodating and looking to make our stay incredible.

Beautiful property. It’s in the jungle on a mountainside and surrounded by nature. The room appears modern ,warm and fresh. The only downside of the room was the instability of shower temperature. It was uncomfortable experience. I asked the hotel staff to fix the issue a couple of times but it wasn’t taken care of while we were there. There are lots of small pools and hot tubs scattered around the property with fantastic views. Water park is great addition if you have children. All the hot tubs temperatures are under 34C (93.2F) according to my watch, which feels cold. It would be nice if they set the temperature around 38C(100.4F) which is the norm for hot tubs. Tonati beach club is nicely set up . It has a beautiful view with excellent service, amazing food, and drinks. They do have scheduled shuttle buses that go to/from the beach every hour. However, they seem to run the schedule according to their convenience. The buses sometimes leave early or late, up to 30-40 minutes. Overall our experience with this Marriott resort has been good. Majority of the staff are friendly and helpful. The food at Teppanyaki, Media Luna and the food truck was very delicious.  I think that the buffet restaurant could be improved with greater variety. Special thank you to a hotel manager Alberto; to waiters, Alejandro, Edure, Regino and Salvador; to bartenders, Eynar and Manuel. They were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make us feel very special. 💕💕💕

We came second week in January. And the resort was very quiet. We had the choice of the many pools. Property was beautiful and the staff very friendly and helpful
