The worst experience ever!!! Staff is very slow and not trained especially restaurant ( morning) . Very bad experience. Bugs and mosquitos everywhere. They sprayed but maybe because I complained in my patio as well and I smelled it. I came home and don’t feel well ( maybe I got poisoned from the insects spray) .Very bad experience. Ocean is beautiful but because of the staff and bugs my vacation was ruined. I will never go back . Very Sad for the amount of money I paid. Bad experience!

Property is beautiful and very peaceful. All the staff is very friendly. The beach is amazing. Food is just ok. I had 2 negative take backs. #1 to use the snorkel googles on the beach from the resort you have to leave a $20 cash deposit for each set of googles you want to use and that’s for only 30 mins. (My party was of 2 and I wanted to use them an hour I had to leave $80.) I got the cash back when I returned them after I was done. But it was a inconvenience to have to walk back to my suite to get the cash. #2 I set up the romantic dinner on the beach on our last night for $250. Not even being out on the beach for 3 mins we got attacked by thousand of mosquitos. The waiter serving us had no spray. I had to run back to my suite to get spray and a jacket. The more we sprayed the more mosquitos came to attack our legs and arms. We didn’t get to eat on the beach. We had to go back to our suite because we got bite up so bad my ankles swelled up. I look like I got chicken poks with all the hundreds of bites I got from being on the beach less than 5 mins for our “romantic dinner”. They brought the cold hard nasty food to our room and we couldn’t eat it. 1. It was no longer “romantic” 2.. it was cold and nasty 3. We were in pain from all the mosquito bites. And we still got charged the $250. At check out the guy at the front desk told us “TOO BAD YOU HAVE TO PAY NOW!” My jaw hit the ground when I heard him tell me “TOO BAD” not even an apology. I loved everything up till then.

awesome place...If you just want to relax and chill this is the place. No kids, no hassle beautiful grounds, rooms.

My Trip to Zoetry in Punta Cana was one to remember If you’re looking for a resort to spend quality/romantic/relaxing and special times with your partner…look no further because Zoetry is the one. It’s my partner and I first visit to Dominican Republic and we chose Punta Cana to Celebrate our 20yrs anniversary. We were looking for a resort that would be relaxing without the hectic tourism traffic and I must say Zoetry was the perfect spot. It’s a smaller resort without the partying life yet they did have activities to enjoy thru the weekend (from Circus Show/ Jazz Singer/ DJ during the day at the Pool area/ horseback riding and water sport activities) and if you’re looking to do some partying at night, your also able to go to one of their affiliated hotels. The resort has a Zen feeling/ it’s very clean/ with humble and good people. What I most loved about this resort was their architect design, with their tropical feelings from the moment you enter to the rooms and restaurants even their public bathrooms. I did not feel like I was in a resort but instead in a mini paradise. Food was excellent (we wanted authentic Dominican food and they went out of their way to cook for us special authentic cuisine from their country), Service was exceptional , “Ramon” our Butler went out of his way for all our needs and questions.

It was an unforgettable experience everything was great the rooms,atmosphere,scenery, food just everything deff coming back soon!

My girlfriend and I were looking for a place which was warm, by the beach, had an infinity pool, provided a vegan menu, offered spa services and was quiet (no kids). We found this resort which is truly heaven!! The staff and butler service were first class (I am pretty sure there are more staff than guest), and the spa, although a bit pricy, was one of the finest I have been to. My only complaint was the infinity pool which was not heated, but the temperature was unseasonably cold with high winds. The spa had an indoor pool and there was also a secluded (heated) hot tub to enjoy. I would highly recommend this resort to any couple looking for some peace and quiet.

After all the glowing reviews of this hotel, we were disappointed. I found the staff's "enthusiasm" to be forced and artificial. Our butler always seemed to be rushed and more interested in running off to another task than taking time to listen to our requests. He was of limited value to us. Oddly, we found it extremely difficult to fins a comfortable place to sit. The bar stools in the lobby were the worst. During our stay, there was a significant storm. This caused some flooding into the pool than wound around by our room. After the storm, the water was a disgusting brown. In the first day after the storm, we saw no activity to indicate any effort to clean or repair the pool. There was no communication from the hotel or our butler. Because we had paid a premium to have a room with direct access to the pool (known in other hotels as a swim-out) and we could not use that pool, we decided to move to another resort. We were extremely pleased that we made that decision. One more note: the food we had was fine. We were only at the resort for three days. I think the food would have been very monotonous if we had stayed there all week. Overall: meh.

Very relaxing hotel with a low key vibe and great service. The hotel is about an hour from the airport on the Atlantic side. It has 96 rooms and 3 main restaurants for dinner, a great dining area with beach views for lunch and breakfast, and two bars one pool and one lobby. The restaurant didn't require a reservation, you walk in and a table is ready. The menus were all high end from surf and turf for lunch to lamb for dinner. The beach wait staff is amazing. Joel brought drinks and food to my wife and I without us even asking. If your looking for a relaxing resort without lines and exceptional service this is the place for you.

A fine all inclusive choice. The location is a bit remote, but there are activities at the hotel to occupy your time.

Everything was perfect! Awesome service, beautiful views, stunning pools, delicious foods. Everything was included, even wifi and laundry services, as well food, alcohol, 20 min. massage, horseback riding on the beach, and snacks.

The staff is very nice at Zoetry. The pool is supper nice. They do have a seaweed problem that they clean up every day.

Our first night. The ac didn't work. We asked to change the room and it took 2 days. Did not like the first room. But he second w Room we received as great. Food was good.

My husband and I just spent a week at Zoetry Punta Cana - we loved it! This is a quiet resort that is perfect for quiet relaxation. The only place it can get a little loud is at the swim up bar but there were also days it was very peaceful (there was a group traveling together while we were there that could get a little loud but most people travel as couples). The rooms and grounds were very well maintained and clean. There are only a few restaurants that are open during meal times but that never bothered us- there were lots of options! Our favorite restaurant was Olena! Late afternoon/early evening, it was a little more work to get a drink at the pool as the beach bar closed at 5- we would walk to the swim up bar for drinks - that is probably our only con which was very minor!! Staff was very friendly - the resort claims that all guests have a butler- I think this depends on who your butler is. We met ours the first day and didn't really see him after that which is fine because we didn't need anything- the resort has a VIP desk and the front desk which would have been able to set anything else up! I think we could have also asked Roberto - he was so friendly and happy to help anyone! Overall, I would definitely recommend this resort for a low key vacation!

stayed at the zoetry in cabo, which couldn't have been more amazing. so we were happy to spend extra money to stay here, but with admittedly high expectations. overall the resort was great, and we had a nice time, the weather was great, resort was secluded and we thought the food was awesome. but there were aspects of the service that were flat out disappointing. ordering room service nearly daily, the order was messed up each day. not regular coke instead of diet coke, but missing an entire plate of food. or not bringing the drinks that were ordered. the bar was not stocked well at all. poor selection of beer- i didn't need a microbrew from colorado, but just something other than heinekin or the local beer, which was awful. one occasion, though, i ordered a beer for lunch at 12, and was told there was not any cold beer available to drink. really? twice, they were unable to poor the drink that i called- with bottles that were in plain view. i.e., i saw a bottle of jim beam, wanted a beam/coke, and there was not enough in the bottle to make a drink. instead of having another bottle under the bar, going to get a bottle from another bar, i had to pick something else. same with tang gin. if they display standard booze, they should be able to poor a drink. beach service was certainly slow and underwhelming. my expectations may have been high, but having a cold beer or a standard bourbon available (vs empty bottle still displayed on the bar) shouldn't be an issue for the price that we paid. i thought that it was bush league, really. some interactions with front desk staff after check in were not great, but for the most part, the staff were very friendly and willing to do whatever thy could to make a better experience for us. the food was very good, and we found that the selection was adequate for a 7 night stay. the resort was quiet, secluded, without any kids activities. that was perfect for us, as all we wanted to do was get away and relax on a beautiful beach. the water was warm and ocean very swimmable. despite daily fumigation, mosquitos made it impossible to have dinner outside at night. no issue during day though. overall, beautiful secluded location but level of professionalism from staff fell short of expectations.

We wanted to offer you totally the opposite of what you mention in your comments, so we are very sad to hear that we have failed in the opportunity to impress you. Just for your information, the products that we use against mosquitoes or insects, are non-toxic or damageable for health. As a wellness resort we have to make sure that our guests are safe and we also take care of our environment. However, mosquitoes in our country are normal and despite we do our best to control them, we cannot fully control as much as we would like to. We are very sorry to hear about this experience. perfect place for r&r

We found this resort which is truly heaven!! Dear W, We are terrebly sorry knowing that we didn't exceed your expectations, as you mention, we did had an unusual storm (01/05) that caused a lot of damages not only in the hotel, in all the sourroundings. Unfortunately this storm caused several damages that needed more than one day to solve, finally we were able to stabilize one of the pools that was the most affected.
