Water came in from the ceiling into our room and soaked all our clothes. Our phone didn't work so we had to walk to the front desk to order room service. The food was poor quality - we left hungry.

I liked to support from the staff, very friendly. Angel at the front desk or Alfredo, Andreas, just few names but I would have to mention more, were very friendly and professional. It was really appreciated. In the other hand I didn't like the fact that 50% (at least) of the restaurant were closed. The room smell of humidity, I had to change the first room that was assigned to me. The whole structure seems to be old, but the sun, friendly people, and EXCELLENT food makes the overall experience to be great.

It was a beautiful resort and very clean! A lot of different pools and great restaurants to chose from. I wish there would have been more activities for teens (i.e. water polo, activities by the main pool, etc) and the music could have been better.

Front desk never answers, they were unable to find my reservation even with giving them a copy and my passport it took them 45 minutes, then we get to our room and it had 2 beds instead of the 1 king and both beds had stains on them. We go back to the front since they wouldn’t answer by phone trying multiple times we wait another 15 minutes they change our room then call 3 times after saying they can’t find our reservation when they have the copy of it and our passports. The walls are very thin and it’s extremely loud. I had to call room service to get someone on the phone after the room next to us was slamming doors yelling being really loud having guests partying until 5 am. The food was edible but no means gourmet. I got sick a few times literally sick vomit and otherwise and I was there for 5 days total. Room service food was cold. Food at the restaurants were dry, bland and small portions. We had a reservation on my boyfriends birthday and they confirmed the day before and printed a reservation for me the day of only to call us a few hours before and say the restaurant would be closed. The ac is not adjustable so hopefully you like it 60 the whole time. We were freezing. Oh and btw the patio door self locks, so we were locked out in the heat for 30 mins trying to signal someone for help. So disappointing for the amount of money we spent, most likely will not be returning.

Initial impression of the resort at checkin was very nice but when we got to our room, the bathroom was a bit dark (need more lighting), bedsheet had holes, TV was a bit small (30") nice stocked fridge with water, soda and beer. Bathrobe & slippers. The room needs updating. Food: It was pretty good but not realizing that portions were small we had to order a second servings. Also not all the restaurants at the resort is open everyday so check the day/times as well as two of the restaurants need reservations so check with the concierge to make them. Facilities; Lots of pools to swim in, beach is nice\ Staff: they're pretty friendly but do be aware that not all speak fluent English and that you are in Mexico Avoid the FREE offer slip that is slipped under your door. It's not timeshare by definition but they are trying to sell the condos units like the one you're staying in. They don't provide you with complete details on costs and returns on investment if you do buy. We were unable to claim their offer since there was miscommunication/misunderstanding and it was our last day at the resort. Wasted our last day trying to get it resolved and explain the situation to 9 different people including the manager

This was an amazing experience, from the moment we walked on the grounds we were greeted with kindness and helpfulness. Staff were simply amazing. The grounds were impeccable, and the food was equally as wonderful. Plenty of activities for young and old. We stayed in building 19 and we absolutely loved our rooms, 2 bedroom suite. It served our needs and since we did not have children with us, it was nice to be right by the adult pool. I really cannot say enough positives about The Fives! Would definitely recommend and we will be back!

This was a very friendly and comfortable resort. The food was good, drinks were strong and plenty, and the spa services were amazing. My room was one of the larger floor plans for a 1br even though i was traveling alone. I really appreciated the hospitality of the staff. I would definitely staff here again.

Beach was full of seaweed. Rooms smelled funky and weren't kept real clean. They didn't change sheets once, and I marked them. Didn't leave the resort because of crime and the police pulled everyone over. Got seat belt ticket for the person in the backseat $60.

It was wonderful! The staff was great: welcoming, friendly, and always going above and beyond. Beautiful resort and beach.

Everything was wonderful however our "sky suite" which included a hot-tub on the roof-top veranda started leaking on day 2 and we were not able to really take advantage of that aspect of our suite. I found that the (male) concierge at the facility to be the most helpful and willing to go the extra mile to get us what we wanted (reservations, finding lost bags, etc.). The (females) seemed to not really care about anything but selling the time-share. We read some bad reviews about the various restaurants but found them all to be really good. The french (La Brasierre) was probably our least favorite, and the pizza at Flavors was excellent. We also really enjoyed the sushi restaurant but we like sushi too. We thought it odd that there were pools close to the villa's but you couldn't get towels after 5:00 PM except down at the beach pool and even that pool butler closed down at 6:30 PM. Over-all giving the experience and resort a 4 out of 5 and would go back again. It is a great resort for families for sure with lots of kid-friendly activities to do.

Rooms and service were excellent. We had a 2br sky and found it very spacious. Sky suite was a free upgrade which was nice but I wouldn't overpay for this Food was really good for an all inclusive Lots of kids and a little quite at night but we were cool with it

This property is clearly geared toward timeshare users. Upon check-in you were told you had a Personal Concierge who basically wanted to sell you a timeshare. The overall property and it's ground were nice, the beach was okay and the food was okay. Nothing special and nothing horrible about the resort.

It was a beautiful resort and very clean! A lot of different pools and great restaurants to chose from. I wish there would have been more activities for teens (i.e. water polo, activities by the main pool, etc) and the music could have been better.
