It's perfectly acceptable. I had no issues. Clean room, clean washroom, AC. I was happy with it.

During three night stay maids made up our room late in afternoon each day making us wait outside after a full day of sightseeing. Front desk said they could do nothing about it. Linens were clean but blanket had holes. Breakfast was nice as well as 24 hour tea and coffee. Reception staff friendly. Okay place for young people looking for inexpensive hotel. Not equivalent to a Super 8 in the States.

I typically do not write poor reviews, but this experience was exceptional. The room was extremely unclean. Carpet under the A/C unit was soaked and had a strong odor. Cigarette burns in the comforter and on the walls. Disturbing stains on the rest of the carpet and in the bathroom. One person in our party left with red, raised bite-like marks on legs and feet. Elevator was dirty. Front desk staff at night completely ignored us as we walked in from a completely open door and went up the elevator. Did not inspire a secure feeling. Room key stopped working on the second day. Staff fixed the electronic card/key without confirming our ID.

The staff was very welcoming and friendly! Room was nice and comfortable too. Only complaint was that the wifi wasn't too good :/

I stayed 5 days. The room in general was looking good until I got to the bathroom.... Hair all over the place... Called the reception desk and the guy at the reception came with a Kleenex to remove half of the hair, was still remaining a lot, and told me that next day someone was gonna clean.... Breakfast until 10 am. I was using the juice machine at 10am exactly and the maid shut down the machine looking at me meanwhile I was serving myself a glass of juice. She said she has to close the machine at 10, lol ! So half a cup for me...they called the cops and I had a 53$ fine cause my car was parked a more then 15 minutes in the space deserve for the hotel in the street... They couldn't call my room to tell me to move my car, they preferred calling the cops...yup ! Up to you to discover the rest... Enjoy !

The hotel is located about two blocks away from the St. Laurent metro stop. It is on a side street parallel to St. Laurent and perpendicular to Sherbrooke. This hotel is good if you are on a budget, however there is nothing truly special about it. The rooms are clean, bedding and linens are changed daily, and there is a continental breakfast (croissants, coffee/tea, juice, and cereal) from 7 am-10am. The best thing about the hotel is it's location. It is within walking distance to Mont Real, the Latin Quarter, and downtown. There are also multiple Bixi stations around and, as was mentioned, the metro stop is within walking distance. The are also multiple restaurants located on St. Laurent and St. Denis. This hotel might not be ideal in the winter, since it's on a definite incline.

Hotel is located about a block and a half from the entrance to the Jazz Festival and about a block and a half from the St. Laurent Metro station; also, about a 20-25 minute walk to the Old Port and the Cathedral, and three Metro stops from the Montreal Museum of Fine Art and the McGill college neighborhood. Room was basic but clean; breakfast also basic. Price was very, very economical. Parking not available at the hotel site but available nearby for $16-20/day. Even at that rate, the room and parking came to less that $110/day. Not posh, no bells and buzzers, but perfect if you only need a place to sleep while you see the city.

I stayed there for three nights. It was chosen for an apparent value for money. Pretty close to downtown locations. I did see some eating places nearby, including one that services Indian food. But the fact the parking is not included in the room price makes the cost go up. Street parking is complex because the signs are posted in French and possibly there are certain times when those street spots cannot be used. I couldn't really use the room phone because it seemed to be out of order.

Good location, average quality. Nothing negative to say, but it's definitely a student hotel. Staff was really friendly and helpful, and speak both english and French. Wifi and basic continental breakfast included.

I parked my vehicle out front of hotel and my window was smashed in and luggages stolen. The hotel did not havet room type as per my reservation. I was offered a smoking room, then a very dirty and smelly room, then I was offered a queen room that had a very strong odour of freshly burnt marihuana.
