I liked the downtown location. I disliked that our view out our window was a rusty air conditioning unit and bird poo
The staff was extremely helpful in several ways, to include upgrading my room from the piece of crap that I always seem to get when using Orbitz or any of the related services such as Expedia etal. I will not be using you in the future.
We really enjoyed the location of this hotel. The room was clean, bright and spacious.
The area is great ( but dusty) but the parking lot is scary . The breakfast was good at Cora . Good wifi. Overall is a good place.
Helpful staff. Good location. Nice room. Good restaurants in the area.
Great location and very clean! I would recommend this hotel!
Location is convenient but rooms are small and have small windows, so the feel a bit claustrophobic
Nice hotel. Didn’t like the street (Drummond); bad neighborhood.
St. Catherine neighborhood is my favorite in Montreal and the Best Western / Europa strikes the best balance of value and location. My business duties in Laval required that I had a rental car, and the Europa doesn't have its own attached garage, so every morning I had a three minute walk over to the enclosed parking garage on Stanley street. Cost was 21$CAD, a small price for such a colorful, diverse and liberated neighborhood that begs to be explored on foot. Enjoy!
We enjoyed our stay here. We were disturbed by loud people across the hall but the staff at the hotel dealt with the problem right away and treated us to breakfast. The bed was very comfortable and the room was not at all cramped. The location is great and prefect for our stay in Montreal.
I was looking for a place close to the Sheraton Conference Center, but cheaper than staying there, and this was cheaper and only a two-minute walk. But you get what you pay for. The room was tiny, there were no room-darkening shades or curtains, only sheer ones, so outdoor lighting glared into the room at night. The water would fluctuate between hot and cold during your shower. The heater blew only cold air on the far end of the unit. The room was sparsely furnished. It was clean, though. Unfortunately, we were awakened twice one night, once due to a very, very loud truck apparently pumping fuel right below our window for a very long time, and then a few hours later by a garbage truck emptying and banging the dumpsters, also right below. Our bad luck, I guess. I won't go back.
Good Location. No breakfast. Wall HVAC. Refrigerator. Comfortable bed, sheets and pillowcases. Comfy chair and foot rest. Vynal hardwood like floor. Extremely small bathroom. Toilet is right up against the shower. Tight squeeze. Needs dedicated charging outlets.
The location of the hotel allows you to walk to almost every place which is very convenient. The hotel itself was clean to an extent, my friend's room had bad sewer smell in the bathroom but that's really it. Overall great place to stay at. This part of a city becomes a big block party at night.
Convenient location in the center of downtown. Major construction going on across the street. Rooms are small but clean and comfortable. Parking lot just down the street. I would stay again if the price was right
The room was spacious and the bed very comfortable. Lots of hot water in the shower. Coffee in the room. There are two good restaurants on site. The location was excellent. I strongly recommend this hotel.
Good Hotel, Good Location. The 2 restaurants inside the Hotel are pretty good. Room was small but clean.
We wish we have not booked this hotel. The management is very unprofessional. We had very bad experience with this hotel.
Nice, affordable hotel in the middle of downtown Montreal.
Small room but clean. There's no carpet which is a bonus. Bathroom is great, especially the shower. The only thing we didn't like is the smell of weed and cigarette that came in from the air conditioner and the banging door of the guest neighbours.
