Very well situated hotel. Room layout was a bit awkward. Seemed as though bed was shoved in a corner (so tight could barely plug in phone charger) to make way for cute dinette set and pull out sofa. Room was very large, with a really tiny closet. Again, awkward. Nice touches - robes, ironing board. But towels were scratchy. So highs and lows!

1. Breakfast is limited to one dish and one drink. This was not mentioned 2. Water jug was empty. They should at least offer a glass of water to people travelling long distances. 3. Could not even get or buy a toothbrush. Had to walk a km to buy one. 4. Location is great. 5. Room size is good. 6. Service staff is good.

When we arrived, the room was very clean and comfortable. I especially loved the shower! The only issue was that the toilet was a bit wobbly. The staff were very nice and always ready to help. The hotel itself is beautiful and in a perfect location—very convenient for walking around the city center.

Our suite was exceptional, clean, spacious and nicely appointed. Location was awesome, close to Rue St Paul, shopping, dining, sightseeing very walkable from hotel! Nice cafe close by. Staff were very helpful. It was a wonderful anniversary stay!

We had high expectations for the Saint-Sulpice (my wife had stayed there a decade ago and had very fond memories), and while we had a beautiful room, certain flaws detracted from the experience. First, after a long day of travel, we wanted only to shower and get to sleep, but we discovered the shower was not draining, so rather than risk a flood or stand in soapy, dirty water, we had to ask for a staff member to attend to the problem at 8:30pm. They did so, and we were grateful, so at least they were responsive. Second, however, the room was not very clean -- fixtures smudged and greasy; cabinets in kitchenette marked with gray fingerprints; most surfaces grimy, from counters to tables to windowsills. Not what one would expect from a hotel of this caliber (and at this price). Also disappointing was the WiFi -- we tried to stream a program on our laptop, and got only the spinning wheel of death! On the upside, the staff were very nice, the breakfast was very good, and the location is wonderful. If the room, which was a 6th floor penthouse level, a spacious and light-filled apartment, had been fresh and clean, our stay would have been happily memorable. Oh, well.
