It was excellent! Clean, large bedrooms and bathrooms, comfortable beds, convenient location, nice staff.

Very Welcoming! Danny did a great job and was very informative and offered good choices for dining options.

It was in the heart of downtown and was close to restaurants and shopping. However , it was dated and not clean. Also the elevator was small , slow and it felt like it wa going to breakdown. For the price point and location it was very disappointing. I’ve stayed in Montreal for business many times and I have a good idea what a hotel in that location should look like for the price.

The hotel itself is nice. Great Location despite the construction on the street. The only thing I don't like is that I had to ask about getting my deposit back. This is the second time they have tried to keep it. The last time they did not return my deposit. This time I asked and they told me 3-4 days. Holiday Inn refunds same day. If they take the deposit quickly, it should be returned in the same manner.

Wonderful location and staff. This is a great place to stay if you are visiting McGill, close to everything including Metro.

Great spacious room with comfortable beds. Breakfast was great, The staff wes very polite and helpful. The pool was excellent

Great. Didn't eat food at the hotel but the staff and room were nice.

Had a great stay ,the staff was very helpful. We were able to walk most of the locations in town that we liked.

We needed a place to stay for the McGill Convocation.

The room was clean, relaxing, bed was very comfortable. They were in the middle of painting the hallway. Was very unappealing.

This hotel is extremely close to McGill and easily access the shopping areas, art museum and other attractions. Hotel has been updated, but still has some room for overall cleanliness. But staff was great and location could not be better, particularly for the price

Great place/location and nice staff. Upon my request for a special chair to use in the bath tube, I got it! First time ever I see a hotel, READY for this type of request!

Half of the room was nice, the other half was worn and tired. The bath and shower was particularly worn down, with the exposed pipes coming out of the wall and the showerhead not properly attached. The walls looked like they had received a single coat of dark paint, which showed up white flecks in lots of places where it had been damaged. The walls are a bit thin, easy to hear into the rooms next door and in the corridor. Luckily, people weren't around much when I was there. The breakfast was okay, but really overpriced, and not many nearby alternatives. For the cost, the hotel is pretty good, much cheaper than the other nearby hotels - it is quite far from the old town area but close to the university. If you just need somewhere to sleep then it is fine.

Wonderful hotel with an even better staff that managed to find me a restaurant nearby that was open on Christmas Eve! :) (Montreal normally goes into hibernation from 4pm on Dec. 24 through the afternoon of Dec. 25 and isn't fully back online until Boxing Day on 12/26, so the staff's work was both impressive and deeply appreciated!). The staff was fully bilingual (English/French) and exceptionally friendly and polite. Looking forward to staying there again soon! In terms of location, the hotel is about 2 blocks away from the Peel stop on the Metro, which can take you pretty much everywhere you'd want to go in the City of Montreal. While less of an issue in the summer, in winter a short walk to the Metro is deeply appreciated. :)

Good hotel friendly helpful staff, room was nice cumfy beds

Couldn't ask for better -- location, comfort, staff, etc. We were in town for the Jazz Festival, and it was the perfect location to walk to everything, including the old town. I give it my unqualified recommendation. Including the parking for $25/day.

Hotel was nice, employees were nice, Great Stay! Close to shopping and bars.

It's an fine hotel, although a little old and somewhat overpriced, but the location is very good. There was no hot water in my room when I checked in, but they gave me a new, nicer, room immediatey. The staff was very courteous and responsive. The bed was very comfortable. Really - no complaints, just overpriced in general, but I suspect, so are other hotels in the area - you pay for the location.

This was a quick trip and are very familiar with the area and this filled the need. The room was roomy and adequate. Our complaint was with the internet access. We needed it for business. We had trouble getting on resulting in the techie calling us. We got on and then kept getting knocked off which made the stay unpleasant. They said the tech dept would look into the problem. We hope they do. Otherwise no complaints - good price, good location, pleasant staff.
