Positives - The front desk staff is the gem of this hotel. In addition, the location is ideal and safe with easy access to transportation and near landmarks, restaurants, etc. The room also had a refrigerator, coffee maker and microwave. It served its purpose which was to have safe and convenient space to sleep. Negatives - Upon arrival, my wife asked to use the restroom and it was disgusting and clogged which is probably why our room was upgraded. The floors by the door were torn and the kitchen lights were missing a cover. (I have pictures if needed). I'm not sure why management would allow a homeless person to sleep by the front entrance. I understand and appreciate a message of being compassionate is trying to be portrayed and if it the case then guests should be made aware of this. People go on vacation to relax, enjoy, and get away from their situations at home. In conclusion, the stay served its purpose which was to provide a place to sleep as we were up and about through most of our stay. Location and front desk staff were the gems here but there are some matters to be addressed to make this at least a 3 star experience.

Hotel is low price how ever it is in rough conditions. Our remote control was gross!!. Bathroom ceiling are not finished being painted, bathroom cabinet door falls appart if you open it. Towels are super small and can barely wrap around your body when out of shower. Bathroom door has fingers prints all over like it hasn’t been wiped down in a long time. Outside terrace looked rough as well, staff was very cold. Room view was nice and bed felt good overall. It comes down to the maintenance of the building and house keeping that makes hotel seemed uncared for.

I got spider bites overnight from my stay, sent pictures, and a day and a half later, no call back despite a promise to look into it.

We found a used condom on the floor. We politely had to ask them three times before we even got a sorry. They also had to come up on two separate occasions for it to finally be picked up. It still was not cleaned and dried semen was still left on the floor.
