I like the hotel location ; and I didn’t like some staff on reception are not good because thier attitude to deal with us.
The hotel is very elaborate and an intricate maze of where to go for your room. It can become very confusing trying to get to where you want to go. The lobby is extraordinary with plenty of comfortable seating and views that excite the senses!
Some staff members were friendly and very kind but there were some who were surprisingly unkind and untrained. Our experience at this hotel was OK. The facility was dated and the food was just OK.
Virginia at the concierge desk was awesome She spent a lot of time with us getting tours
The room was nice. The building was old. The hotel itself had a cool vibe to it. The pool area was nice. The heated pool was nice. Staff was helpful.
The rooftop pool - although I anticipated more of a view but the way it’s built is within the hotel top floors essentially. Proximity to downtown was great.
I was impressed with every part of my stay except that there was only 1 elevator operational throughout my stay.
I didn’t like the building, it was odd and seemed like sleeping in a bunker. My room was long and dark and smelled like cigarette smoke. There was a loud elevator noise that was incessant starting at 7am. Not for the hotel - it was only served by two tiny elevators that were really far from my room. The noise was from the elevators serving the lower floors that we couldn’t even use. It took 5-10 min just to exit! Then when you walk out it is mostly construction highlighted only by rows of office workers who use the sidewalk as their smoking break room. Uggh.
It was dirty, disorganize very loud. Service at restaurant very slow.
The friendliness of everyone that worked there! We would definitely stay there again.
The service staff at check in could have been a bit friendlier. I thought the rooms on top of the building was unique. The pool area was always packed, which turned me off.
Because of road construction, getting to the hotel sometimes was challenging.
The hotel lobby layout with the different sitting area was unique as well as the heated pool and hot tub outside. As well, the check in and check out was very efficient. Excellent service
The outdoor settings they creating around the pool and eating areas was the highlight of this hotel. They had coy and ducks swimming in ponds and beautiful plants and trees. Food at the pool was great and the staff at the pool was great. Very difficult to get to due to traffic and roads although that is not the fault of the building or staff. It is an older building which needs updating. It was overly expensive for the room we received and the overall hotel experience. It took three calls and almost 45 min to get our luggage brought to us and the hotel was not busy. We found used toilet paper on the bathroom floor and there was other issues of cleanliness which bothered me.
Quiet, peacefull. Spacious. clean. Nice breakfeast
