I Booked for 1 King Bed room but I got Queen bed and i was told thats all they have and everything else is occupied. Front desk Staff in morning time was very friendly and interactive but night staff talk very limited. Parking is little expensive is what I felt and breakfast was limited. Rooms were not that clean and old. Overall - You get what you pay for. Its little inexpensive hotel compared to others I saw but I think could have been better.

In general the hotel was below average regarding location and amenities. Upon arriving to the hotel we had to call the hotel desk to get directions for underground parking( we were on hold for 10 minutes each time while driving in heavy traffic). The parking is not in same street as hotel. There was no prior communication regarding this fact. We were upgraded to a king suite with a view of the courtyard(kind of disappointing).The air conditioning unit was in the living room area so the bedroom was too warm unless the living room was freezing. Would not stay here again. Price was right but I guess you get what you pay for

3 star hotel felt a lot like 2 star given the condition of the property. Staff were great, beds and towels were clean, but carpets, couch, stained bathroom, clogged sink, fruit flies/gnats all made the experience rather miserable. Our phone didn’t work, bath mat was missing and room was very dark at night. Underground parking is convenient, breakfast was decent. Overall: could do better.

Pros and Cons: Pro: -Delicious breakfast, overally very friendly helpful staff, rooms cleaned regularly, nice, small gym, access to laundry. Cons: -Parking: On-site parking was a BIG factor for me in choosing the hotel. The parking was a bit pricy (though probably reasonable for the area) and I anticipated it would be reserved for hotel guests and there would be enough for hotel guests. However, when I arrived, there was a large festival going on and parking was a nightmare. The front desk told me hotel parking was full (possibly because non-guests were using it) and I would have to wait for someone else to vacate the garage. This was VERY stressful and scary, because I had to park in a different overnight garage, down an alley, late at night. I believe the hotel should communicate better with guests about parking availability. (I was able to eventually move into the hotel parking, and it was very easy when available.) -Out-of-date information in guidebook: The hotel provides a guidebook, but not all info is up to date. This includes the info about parking (see above). Additionally, my mother needed to send a fax while we were there. According to the guidebook, the hotel will fax documents. However, the front desk would not fax her document, and directed us to a drugstore that also would not send a fax. Aside from the parking and fax issue (both of which did create a lot of stress), we enjoyed our week-long stay.

I will never use this hotel again it was so nasty and smelly, I told the lady at the desk and she sent someone to inspect my room but he said he did not smell anything..I will never forget that horrible experience…you got a good location in Montreal but you have to upgrade.

AC in bedroom sounded like a jet plane taking off all night. I could not sleep at all. Hotel dark, old, musty, sad, dated. Badly needs to be gutted and renovated. Looks like it hasn’t been upgraded since the 1950s. More a 2 star than a 3 star. Do Not recommend.
