Clean, quiet, concierge was very helpful. Loved the view of downtown from the beautiful wide arched windows.

Nice hotel, awesome proximity to metro, nice amenities, clean room, great views, great price. They should validate parking tho for self park. You shouldn't have to pay for that. If you want to valet its a good option to have to charge, I understand that, a little to expensive for valet.

Nice rooms and the bar was a good place to conduct meetings.

Loved our stay, the young woman at the counter was helpful and friendly. Room was beautiful. Only complaint - why not have nice china mugs for making coffee. And let's move on from Keurig coffee makers - they are the worst in terms of tacky wastage.

Hotel is a classic. Unfortunately we showed up unexpectedly and got the last room available. The room was half of a suite and the bed was cold out but with a queen mattress, perfectly comfortable. The view was unbelievable! Highly recommended.

nice and clean place with or without family. bar and restaurants were awesome. great place,,,, love to visit again..

Location was great with metro acess below hotel. Lot of road construction around hotel. Staff was very helpful. Thought breakfast was included. Will book again next year.

ease of arrival, location, amenities and affordability all made this hotel great!

Make sure you contact the hotel for any booking. We were supposed to get 2 double beds, but we saw a king bed as we walked in. All they could do was to bring in a rolling bed for $ 30 extra per day. Hotel parking was also expensive. Check out the nearby streets for free parking. the hotel facilities and location are great. It literally take less than 10 minutes to downtown core.

Very nice and clean room with a great view of city. Entire staff was very helpful speaking in French or English. Jazz Festival was a 20 min. walk and took a taxi back for $10. On site parking garage very tight fit and $28/day. No need to use your car, leave it parked and take the Metro, taxi or walk.

Every single person we encountered in this hotel was very VERY nice.... The hotel was nice also...convenient to all..

We only stayed here one night, but everything was perfect. Location, location, location. A little pricey compared to other similar hotels in the area, but well worth it I should say. I would definitely come back.

We stayed here for 2 nights in the winter. Location is perfect because of the entrance to the underground city. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Rooms clean and nice.

Enjoyed our stay as everything is great about this place. Only negative point is that parking is not free.

my experience was a very good one overall. The location was perfect, very convenient to dining, shopping, metro and the major Universities. The hotel even had a direct elevator access connecting us to Bonaventure stop on the Metro's orange line. Did not like the valet parking. Had to use it for one night to have access to my car the next day to drop my son and his stuff off at University. Took over 20 minutes to get my car and the Manager on duty(very nice gentleman) was the one to deliver my car to me). Upon return to the hotel 5 hours or less later self-parked my car for the rest of my stay. On check out 4 days later hotel included charge for valet parking for 5 days, even though I only used the service one time. Charges were removed after I explained that I only used the service once. Another funny thing about valet parking was when I tried to use it around 6:00 p.m. on a Friday evening the wait was so long and the fire alarms went off at the hotel and the hotel had to be evacuated, so instead of waiting around I drove my car to Old Montreal where we were meeting up with friends for dinner and did not get back to the hotel until after 10:00 p.m. to have valet parked my car, so technically I used valet parking for less than 24 hours, but was charged the full price all the same. Also, at check-in on first night was informed that I would be charged for extra person in room, the extra person being my 14 year old daughter, even though my reservation specified that 2 adults(my 18 year old son and myself) plus my 14 year old daughter would be sharing the room. I read a lot of reviews before booking this hotel and was aware that the hotels in Montreal often inform travelers of this extra charge upon arrival even though hotel policy specify "maximum occupancy is 4". Did not bring my husband because of being afraid of being charged for having an extra person in the room, even though my son only spent 2 of our 6 night stay at the hotel. After I pointed out that my daughter was only 14 years old the extra charges were removed, but they should never have been included in the first place, because when you make your reservation you are asked to specify the age of the child and the age is listed on the reservation.

The staff at the Chateau Champlain make the experince there, they will bend over backwards to suit your requirements and make for a very comfortable stay. The City view is incredible.

My stay was brief wishing I could have stayed longer. Perfect view of the city from my room 1302. Check-in a breeze, parking attendants efficient. It was raining, I did not have an umbrella the doorman ran in to lobby and obtained umbrellas for our whole group. Look forward to a longer visit in room 1302 in the near future.

Loved th hotel it was fun beautiful and clean. Th staff was perfect and I highly recommend anytime

Experience was good with the exception of two black marks; (1) An additional $70.93 ($60 plus taxes) was charged by the hotel for having a third person stay in the room although your company were informed that the reservation was for 3 people. Therefore the price listed by your company was misleading. (2) The bar closed at 11pm although advertised closing time was midnight.

Our stay was fabulous the hotel is centrally located and the staff was the most helpfull I have ever encountered especially the Bellman Patrice

1050 de la Gauchetiere West Montreal QC
