Residence Inn by Marriott Montreal Downtown

I stayed one night in the centrally located Residence Inn with my teenaged daughter and her friend. We were in the shopping area and walked to the Museum of Fine Arts for some culture. The hotel is surrounded by a variety of restaurants. The room was clean and there was a well appointed kitchen. The beds were very comfortable. The hotel staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The breakfast was very good with a lot of fresh choices. Parking was $25 which is reasonable. We would definitely stay there again.

We loved the location, the staff, the room and the city. We like walking and this site was excellent for that. Walk to Old Town or Mount Royal and you'll get your 10,000 steps. Parking was an extra but you may not need your car while in the city. We'd definitely do this hotel again. Avoid the restaurant next door unless you like slow service.

Hotel is in downtown Motreal. Close to old Montreal, lots of historic places to visit. Bigest shopping street is a block away. Hotel charges 25$ for parking. Interior is newer and has free breakfast.

This Marriott Residence Inn more than met our expectations. Excellent helpful and knowledgeable staff. Room decor was excellent and roomy.

I stay in that hotel from Aug2 to Aug9 in room 701. I lost a dark blue sport short in my room. An earphone for iPhone was in the pocket. I ate breakfast in M level, wearing that sport short. Then I go back to my room and changed to my suit for job interviews. The sport short was put either on my bed or in bathroom. I can no longer find the sport short when I came back in the evening. I believe it is house keeping persons took it together with bedding or bath towel. I asked the front desk, but they did not find it for two days. I was told they will mail it to me if they find it later, but I donot know if they can find it. The sport short is make by super lightweight material, and it was my most favorite one. The earphone was the more expensive version with inline mac and vol control.

Staff was very helpful and welcoming. Close to everything and was a safe place to stay.

for quick 2 day trip we were very happy. easy access to all the local attractions. recommend using the visitors info center, great people and advice.

It was on older hotel room with window A/C units. We were not allowed to have a pre-party in the afternoon for 8 people in our room. One noise complaint at 3 PM and they threatened to evict us. Would not recommend this hotel if you are going to for a Bachelor party. As a family maybe.

It was a great place to stay; great buffet breakfast but crowded at 10:30; better to get there early. Room was clean and staff were friendly. It is within walking distance of the Bell Centre and lots of shops. Would stay there again for sure.

This hotel is located at a very good spot in Montreal downtown.

This hotel hit all the major points of importance for me. It was clean and nicely located downtown in the center of shopping. It was near Crescent and Bishop, ideal locations for spring break fun with 3 teenage girls. The Metro was down the street. The room had a small convenient kitchen. A hearty breakfast was free every morning.

Is needed in this Residence Inn... loads of dust and cobwebs in the room. Some cracks in painted areas... Room itself was very roomy. I know what I am getting with a Residence Inn and this was on par.

Excellent price point. Beware of car parking charges. The staff was very helpful and includes a buffet breakfast.

great location and hotel. the staff was very friendly and helpful.

the staff was great...fantastic downtown location. nice clean rooms.

Perfect location. Very friendly and helpful staff. Wonderful breakfast. Clean and spacious room - comfortable enough for a family of five (incl. a teenager). The only negative was the extremely small bathroom. Overall a great value!!

Crummy sofa bed. Needed to call to get shampoos, blankets, soaps towels etc. No one came in to clean or make the beds in three nights. Great breakfast - and the folks that worked the breakfast buffet were delightful! That started everyday off on the right foot! For three adults it was a good value overall.

I stayed here for 2nights and I liked it overall. The only unpleasing part of this hotel was that my room had a weird smell. I got used to the smell in a while, but every time I stepped into my room, the smell bothered me again for a second. I don't know where it was from. My room was even upper level(idk what to call it) than standard room with 1king bed, sofabed, kichen etc. The first thing I liked was its perfect location in the middle of downtown. Abt 20mins walking distance to Old Montreal, just a couple of blocks to the Montreal Museum of Fine Art. You can find pretty much everything around hotel, such as theater and pharmacy. Oh and one of the clerks told me the bar right in front of hotel was one of must-go hip lounges getting more popular recently if you'd like to enjoy night life ;) and the complimentary breakfast they offer is pretty good. Good food and service. Really enjoyed it! Oh and I appreciate they stored my luggage after check-out for hours. Some people leave for a month and it's find with them.

Hotel was in a great location, friendly staff and a nice breakfast buffet.. I would stay there again.

Overall we were pleased with the hotel, its staff and the value. It is located very close to the Metro - Peel Station and Bus route 107 has stops along Rue Peel. The only disappointment was the size of our bathroom. Only one person could fit in it at a time and the door just barely cleared the front of the toilet. A tight squeeze for even one person. So we also used the sink in the kitchen for things like hand washing, brushing teeth, etc.... if someone was already in the bathroom. Although we didn't use the service, the hotel offers grocery shopping for no additional fee. Seems like it would be a good thing for anyone who planned to cook during their stay. There was a kitchenette with a fridge, microwave, oven/stove, dishwasher, etc.... and all the plates, silverware, pots/pans. And if you only needed a snack, there was a small convenience store located in the lobby. Each afternoon there were also freshly baked cookies at the front desk - we made sure we stopped by for a quick snack.
