No help with luggage. The luggage cart needed repair and was needlessly heavy and unwieldly. I dragged my stuff to my room and headed out to appointments. At 11 pm, when I returned, I realized they'd put me in a room for the disabled rather than the king with a glassed in shower listed on my confirmation. No makeup mirror, poor lighting and shower that flooded the bathroom. They offered to move me and even to help with my bags but I had to rush around to various meetings and did not have time. They refused to compensate me in any other way -- not a free breakfast or to cover my parking. The woman at the desk blamed me for not realizing sooner that it was a disabled room which she claims are just the same as other rooms. Except that the toilet is much higher, there are no towel racks or any place to hang the towels and the sink is big and high and makes using the bathroom mirror for putting on makeup impossible. They could have appeased a customer but they chose not to.

Really nice rooms and great staff! No breakfast included and the one offered (thats 26$) is mid... we went out for breakfast instead. Otherwise, nothing bad to say about the hotel!! 10/10!

It was a comfortable stay. They ended up upgrading our room after waiting for ours to be ready, and the hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating. It was nice that the hotel was connected to a cafe and the place was very unique with a deep history.

Before arriving the hotel we had contacted them to say we may be early and asked if there was a baggage drop. We were told there was but also to ask if our room may be ready early. It was not ready which was fine and we were told check in was not until 4, but to come back after 3. When we returned at 3:30 pm to a new front desk team we were briskly told, again, that check in was not until 4. We were made to feel very uncomfortable speaking our language of choice, English. While waiting in the lobby we noticed much more friendly interactions with french speaking guests. The whole check in experience was very off putting and uncomfortable which was not a great start to our stay. However, once we had a room and had retrieved our luggage from the valet, our stay was great. The valet, Michel, was amazing. The room was quiet and location is great. Just be sure to brush up on your french and arrive no earlier than 4 pm for a smooth check in experience.

It was awesome. I was a little skeptic because of it is not known, $35 for valet and no complementary water. Mini bar is $5 dollars for Fiji water.

Location is great for us to visit family and friends downtown plus its close to Old Montreal. The Jr Suite is our favourite room with the huge bathroom and lounge area. Staff are always friendly and the rooms are spotless with comfortable beds and no noise.
