The Hotel is comfortable and the room was clean. The service received was excellent. I recommend this hotel.

Good breakfast options. Great location for tourist. Helpful and friendly staff. I would change a few details in the room layout. All in all it was a good experience.

We loved the location! Just minutes from main attractions of old port. The breakfast was good. Upon arrival we were told by parking attendant to check in first and reception desk was asking us to drop off car with valet first. No one took the time to explain things unless we knew to ask the right questions. For instance we weren’t informed what password to use for WiFi until we asked. We also weren’t informed of breakfast hours. Lobby smelled funny...like old curry and mildew. When we entered our room it smelled of wet dog and it was quite muggy and damp! Sink and bathtub kept getting stopped up. Toilet was not cleaned properly. Plug outlets were placed oddly around the room. Layout of the room was quite off. Tv was in a corner where person at the far end of the bet could not hear it clearly because of the loud sound of the AC on their side. Musty damp air kep pouring into the room so spent 2 uncomfortable night. Person close to AC would freeze all night and the person away from the window would be melted in heat. Overall the experience was disappointing and while location is prime, I do not recommend this poorly managed hotel to anyone at the price I paid ($200)!!!. I would maybe consider $97, no more.

This hotel has the perfect location for walking to everything, including the Old Port, Notre Dame, China Town, the Subway, museums, and many restaurants and pubs. We were happy about the hotel’s fee daily breakfast. The only downside is that the rooms were a little run down and old fashioned.

Hotel is Centrally located and a good place to experience Montreal.

This is a nice hotel in a great location of Old Montreal. It was an easy walk to any part of Old Montreal. The room was nice and comfortable. The breakfast was also very nice with something for everyone. I would stay there again with no reservations.

nice hotel, good location, easy access, very friendly staff.

Everything was great except for getting a copy of our room charges. When we asked for a copy of the bill, the clerk said they don't print it out; it would be emailed to us. However, we did not receive any emailed bill, but did received a charge on our credit card. Would advise other travelers to demand that they see a bill before checking out.

Our room space was overall fine but poorly configured. The closet door didn’t open fully, we had 2 drawers for 4 people and nowhere to hang wet jackets. The maid pestered us every morning as to when we were leaving so she could clean and on several occasions I had to ask for towels and toiletries for 4 people. The front desk staff were great and we appreciated the included breakfast. An in hotel restaurant and bar would be really nice.

The breakfast area is very congested and can not handle crowded situation.

We couldn't have asked for a better hotel for our stay in Montreal. The location is very close to restaurants, bars and shopping. We had a room on the 5th Floor with a view of the ferris wheel and river. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. I would not hesitate to stay at the Springhill Suites on a return trip to Montreal.

Hotel staff cannot do enough for you. Great location in Old Montreal. We highly recommend.

The hotel is centrally located in Old Montreal City. We are a couple in our 70's and we walked to all our restaurants, and most of all the sites we visited. The town is very clean and safe at all times of the day or night. Montreal is a wonderful place to visit.

Great Hotel. One problem, we did not get the room setup we reserved, so had to sleep on an uncomfortable rollaway in the kitchen area! (the only place it would fit) Make sure you talk to the hotel directly about the exact room you need BEFORE you get there.

Hotel was in a great location. Check in was a breeze, able to pull up right in front of lobby and the valet at the adjoining parking garage picks up the car when finished. Staff was friendly, hard-working and really great and accommodating. There is a very small indoor pool and hot tub. Pool was great for my little one to enjoy though. There is an ATM and PC's to use near the front desk which was nice to grab some Canadian cash for small incidentals and tipping the valet. Breakfast buffet was decent, it is a little crowded and ends fairly early for my family since we are late birds. Rooms were clean and quiet. When opening the sofa bed it can get a little tight which is to be expected. Hotel does not have a view but walking 1/2 a block gives you the best view and puts you right where you want to be.

Great stay. Awesome location. Walk thru old port or just 5 blocks away is Chinatown and the Metro station. The staff at hotel were helpful when needed. The free breakfast was good and small swimming pool for the kids was a plus. Also parking garage right next to hotel.

I stayed at this hotel a month ago when a random trip brought me to Montreal! I was looking for a hotel within walking district to Old Montreal/ Historic District. Not only was the hotel easy to find, but it is literally 2 blocks from the main historic streets. Very safe... I walked around at night with no problems. The staff was friendly and complimentary breakfast was very good. All in all- great place!!!

Great Location, friendly service. Parking was expensive
