Very clean, spacious, and comfortable suites. Location was perfect—less than 10 min walk to all the action of Montreal Jazz Festival and Metro, and walkable to Old Town and Mount Royale. The receptionists were very kind and were able to accommodate our large pickup truck behind the hotel. We enjoyed having a balcony and a kitchen. The breakfast was very basic, but we had plans to eat out anyways. Wonderful stay for the price—I definitely plan to return!

Merci Beaucoup !! Parfait !! Excellent location, right next to McGill University. Full sized fridge and full sized stove, with a table and four chairs for eating; a grocery store is only 5 minutes walk away. Very friendly staff: bilingual receptionists were excellent, the housekeeping staff were kind and considerate, the breakfast staff were cheerful and diligent in keeping the tables clean and the breakfast buffet fully stocked. The Hotel appears to be a converted apartment building. (I think that is why it has the name: L'Appartement Hotel....) It is an older building, but well maintained. Lots of hot water, standard fixtures for the bathroom, good in room air conditioning that you can control the temperature, very nice balcony from which you can take in the views. We followed the receptionist's advice to park at the Lotto Quebec underground parking lot. It is directly across the street. The receptionist was amazing: gave us full driving directions from the Hotel to the Lotto Quebec parking entrance, and on a printed map !! This made it very easy to navigate and find. The Lotto Quebec parking lot is very good: very brightly lit, clean, no odours, no mildew, no drips, no dust, no paint chips, no concrete dust. A really nice parking lot. There is a security guard at the entrance as well. We left our car there for the entire trip (did not try any in-out privledges). Parking prices were the usual/normal downtown urban prices.

The hotel is very good and in a good location to access downtown, Mount Royal is close by and McGill is just down the road. The rooms are very comfortable and also the beds were great. The staff was helpful as well. Special thanks to Alaric for his assistance with our only problem. The hotel has limited safe and secure parking on site. We were directed to park at the off-site location across the street. The place called TargetPark was under renovation and not secure or safe. Our car was broken into by someone that smashed our drivers front side door window to access our car. It was ransacked in the front seating area of the car and only a few things were stolen. The rear area of the car had many camping items but nothing was taken. Getting our window replaced was not possible quickly as no one had the window in stock. Alaric called many glass repair suppliers to find a window. We had to drive to Quebec City to a dealership to get in repaired but it rained during the drive of 3 hours. The hotel put plastic on the window but I couldn't see properly so I had to cut a hole to provide vision. With all the cyclists and pedestrians in Montreal driving out of the city was difficult with the window covered. The hotel is a nice hotel and convenient but if you stay there ask about secure parking. There are a lot of homeless and needy people in the area and secure parking is needed.

Room/suite was fine. Appliances were working though old. The extra sofa bed was one of the worst beds I have slept in (the mattress should have been replaced a decade ago). The room had traffic noise. Breakfast was OK but without warm/hot food options.

The property is in good condition and walkable to everything as it is located near McGill university. The staff are very friendly and the front desk attendant was easy and quick to deal with. The breakfast is not great. Only toast and cakes, not much else.

Great experience, great kitchenette, very spacious, breakfast was pretty good (no hot options of eggs, bacon, or sausages). The only complaints are that the sofa bed was not comfortable and very small, so if you’re relying on that for someone to sleep on make sure they can sleep on anything. The other is that the elevators we very slow at peak times. Otherwise I would still recommend!

Good location in downtown Montreal near McGill campus. Easy walking distance to Old Montreal and the port. We enjoyed the suite style rooms and having a kitchen and eating space. Pool was nice with a great view of the city. Parking was nearby but had limited spaces.

This is a converted apartment building, and as such, our room had a kitchen. It was a little older, but good condition. The front desk staff was very professional and pleasant to deal with. Breakfast lacked hot items such as bacon, sausage, or scrambled eggs, but otherwise, a good selection of food. I paid Formula 1 prices so I can’t speak of value. But at normal rates, it is a solid option.

The hotel is nice and clean staff are polite. The location is great and you can pretty much walk everywhere. The breakfast is okay, however they offer the same thing every day so if you stay more than one night (we stay 3) it may be less appealing, specially for children and teens

I absolutely love this gem of a Hotel. The location is fabulous for restaurants/bars and very close to old Montreal (if you like a short walk, around 20 minutes.) The indoor pool is lovely and we very much enjoyed the rooftop area with the great views. Brilliant place to relax after walking this gorgeous city.
