Friendly people, good food, fair price, good location

just great all about it, the room the location the service and atention Thanks

This was a quick trip for us to visit a student at McGill so we didn't have a lot of time to explore Montreal. The hotel was clean and comfortable. Walking distance to some great restaurants. We had a lovely view of the St. Lawrence. We hope to come back and stay again when we have more time.

NICE HOTEL, GREAT LOCATION. No much service from the staff

The hotel is very conveniently located between Old Montreal and downtown, with access to the underground city (RESO). Our rate included breakfast. The buffet breakfast was good and much better than the typical continental breakfast one typically finds at US hotels. There was an omelette station on weekdays but you can order omelettes from the waiter on weekends. Other food included baguettes, croissants, muffins, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, cured meats, fresh fruit, cheeses, juices, coffee/tea, etc. We did self-parking for $24/day at the garage under the hotel. We also brought our small dog. There was a 45 CAD charge/stay. But it was a pet-friendly hotel. I went to the gym, which was average. It had lots of machines, no towels or water on site. Maybe there were towels in the locker room, but I did not check. One improvement the hotel could make is upgrading their elevators. They seemed extremely slow. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and we would likely stay at this hotel again.

Clean, good staff, great location. Will be going back in the future.

The hotel is in a great location for walking around downtown or Old Town. The metro is almost beneath the hotel as well. The best part was the staff. They put us on to great food and adventure. Really great.

good food, bottle cap under the bed, nice breakfast buffet

This was nice. Great value, excellent location. Really close to Victoria Square subway station, restaurants all around. Nice big rooms and bathrooms.

Very nice hotel for the price and great location. Enjoyed the pool and nearby restaurants. Valet parking was nice although there is self park to save a little.

Just returned from a 3-night stay at InterContinental MONTREAL. The hotel is perfectly situation between downtown, old town, and Chinatown. We were able to walk everywhere, despite the cold November temperatures. I rated room cleanliness down a notch because housekeeping didn't come to clean our room one day until after 4pm. Also, we found a pair of yucky socks that were from the previous guest. Otherwise the hotel is wonderful. The service is great and the restaurant/cafe food is good. I should also add that the price was right. :-)

Hotel was very good. Excellent location, with direct access to the underground city. Short walks to old town and center of the city. Would definitely stay here again. The hotel was immaculate, staff very friendly. They Gym could use some more equipment (only two treadmills). Food at Hotel Restaurant was pretty good and a good value.

This was a great hotel. Our corner room was beautiful. Perfectly located in Old Montreal. Walking distance to everything we needed. Restaurant was great in the hotel. Had the best omelette at the breakfast buffet. The salt water pool was really nice and the deck great for relaxing. The only thing that would have made this better would be free wifi in the room. It was available in the lobby which was good but in the room would have been more convenient. Staff was also vey friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay there again.

the accomodations were great. beautiful hotel and the decor of the rooms and the bathroom was great. Unfortunately the air conditioning wasnt working for some reason the last night. aslo the hotel mischarged me and then double charged me for the hotel stay by over $600. valet service was a bit of a nightmare super crowded and a bit disorganized. the concierge was AWOL somethimes. otherwise it was a good stay but i think it's not worth the money. It is close to Old Montreal but far from the nightlife. Needs a pool...

I stayed here for a conference, and it really is only a block to the convention center, which is good. The hotel and rooms are as one would expect for a conference-oriented place. Had a horrible experience with the operator and room service. The operator was RUDE and my room service never showed up despite two additional calls (to check where it was). To be fair, when I brought it to the front desk staff in the morning (something I usually do not do!), the manager tried to help, but since I already had prepaid through the website, didn't have parking, and had meals planned already, he wasn't able to "comp" anything. If I ever go again for a conference in Montreal, I would try the other area hotels.

This was a perfect location! Near the convention center which was hosting the World Beer Festival at the time, a few blocks away from St. Paul historical street, close to Notre Dame, etc...

This is truly a four star hotel! With our stay in an executive suite came access to the private club area which included a wonderful continental breakfast and an afternoon happy hour that included free access to drinks and food. The concierge was most helpful. The location was perfect for touring old Montreal.

Enjoyed staying here, staff very friendly and great location within walking distance of many restaurants, bars and shopping.

Very nice hotel centrally located around the block from old montreal and the water. The basilica was beautiful so was st. paul street. Hotel bar had very good food. Hotel staff was very helpful and friendly, all spoke english very well. Can't get a better location, the hotel is connected to the world trade center of Montreal which has some shops and great affordable places to eat, also the metro is close by. Marius the bellman was very friendly and helpful with my 80 year old grandmother and ours bags, could not have asked for better hospitality. I would stay here again.

I was able to book at a discounted rate, which made the stay affordable. I was in Montreal for a convention at the Convention Center next door, so the location here was perfect The hotel bar and restaurant were fairly expensive, but not exorbitant. The shower never quite got to "hot," though - it was "quite warm" at best.
