We were here for a couple of days - had dinner and breakfast at Gaston's both were very good, room very nice and easy walk to museums, quai's or metro.

Beautiful hotel and great location. The staff was also extremely helpful, I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

First trip to Old Montreal. Couldn't have chosen a better place to stay. Everyone was extremely helpful and courteous. Will definitely return next trip. Old Montreal was a wonderful experience!

Loved the view from the rooftop bar! All employees were terrific

The room was beautiful. The location was perfect for touring the city. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The complimentary breakfast was very good.

Very good location, good service, very good included breakfasts. Room adequate, although hard to get to...after elevator there was a flight of steps & my wife uses a cane. Raining at arrival & no portico & no space reserved in front of hotel...we & our luggage got wet. Did not get off to a good start.

This is an excellent hotel with beautifully appointed rooms, located in the heart of Old Montreal. I recommend this place if you want to stay at a hotel with character. My only reservation would be that the street behind the hotel is rather noisy (lots of partiers in Montreal) through the night. Accordingly, it may be better to opt for a room on a higher floor.

My husband and I stayed at Auberge Du Vieux Port for 3 nights and this was our first trip to Montreal. The staff at the hotel were very helpful and friendly. We drove to Quebec City on the second day but came back just in time for a fireworks display. The tavern connected to the hotel made it very convenient for us when we wanted to have a nightcap! Our suggestion would be to fix the elevator because it would make a wierd hummong sound everytime it went up and to somehow make the terrace area be more welcoming, it seemed rather crammed up there and we found ourselves going right back down each time we went up. Overall we had a lovely time.

My wife and I recently stayed at Auberge du Vieux Port. It was perfect for us. Great boutique hotel close to everything in old Montreal. We highly recommend it.

Wonderful. We'd do it again. This is a charming little hotel with a delightful and helpful staff. Close to great restaurants and Montreal sights.

Auberge du Vieux Port is wonderful Boutique hotel. The rooms are large and comfortable, the service was exceptionable, and the included breakfast was extremely good! Free Wi-Fi was fast and easy. Out the back door, was an excellent shopping street, with lots of Art Galleries and restaurants. The staff was always patiently willing to help with maps and directions and very good suggestions. We would love to return to this hotel!

The hotel is charming and directly beside the river in Montréal's Old port. It is an old 19th century building renovated in the last years. One part of the hotel seems better renovated than the other, that would need some refreshment. The room was perfect, comfortable and nice. The staff is extremely polite and nice. A good choice in Montréal.

Location is the real strong suit of this hotel for a summer visit. Staff was eager to please and quick to respond to requests. Only negative that I can think of is general noise. The building is a reclaimed port mercantile structure. The hotel walls are lightly insulated. Expect a fair amont of noise from outside your room.

In the historic Vieux Port (Old Port) area of Montreal, this hotel does a nice job of being comfortable and in a great location. My room was small, but well laid out with a window out onto the river. Hotel has a nice restaurant in it, as well as an outdoor terrace bar on the fifth floor that's very appealing in the summer time. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Overall, a nice place to stay in Montreal, but bring your wallet. Rooms are not inexpensive.

The hotel was located in the heart of Old Montreal, which made it convenient to get to many restaurants, bars, sites of historic/cultural interest, the Metro stop (subway), etc. The hotel (more like an Inn) itself is a conversion of several buildings down by the old port and retains the original charming features of the old buildings. It was very clean and comfortable and had an attached bar/resturant. The staff in both the hotal and the bar/restaurant were extremely helpful and pleasant. We have stayed at numerous hotels in Montreal and concluded that this is one of the best. We would definitely stay there again!

Great location in Old Montreal, and the staff was very friendly and helpful!

This hotel is built on the river in an old stone building that has been completely gutted and remodeled. The staff is excellent and the hotel is a nice mix of old and new. My only complaint is that we paid extra for a river view room and though our room did face the river we were on the 2nd floor and the view was completely blocked by trees. If we were higher up we would have seen the river for sure.

We had a wonderful experience at Auberge du Vieux Port. The location is perfect, right in the heart of old Montreal and walking distance to everything. The staff were extremely friendly, bilingual, and helpful. They helped us with sight-seeing and directed us to attractions. The breakfast was delicious and convenient, and we loved the rooftop restaurant. We would definitely come back.

This hotel is everything a boutique hotel should be: The staff is welcoming and helpful, the rooms are amazing, and the location is unbeatable. I fell in love with our room and the incredibly comfortable bed. And the location in old Montreal puts you close to everything you want to do, or with the transportation to get there.\ The only reason I didn't give the hotel 5 stars was the breakfast. Although they have a very good selection of buffet items, service was less than stelar. However, if you want your stay in Montreal to be memorable, stay at the Auberge!

Our stay was comfortable and very close to activity within walking distance. Very close to the Port for our cruise the following day.
