When we arrived the place looked clean enough. We were assigned rooms 306 and 307 in the annex building. While hanging out in room 307, we noticed a bed bug and took a picture of it. It was already late at night, about 10pm, and we went down to the lobby to let them know. We asked to be moved to the other building. The staff member agreed to move us but only to move us into one room. We were 4 people, a dog, and a baby, and we had paid for 2 rooms so that the baby could sleep well without being disturbed. We did not want to be moved to 1 room, and seeing as bed bugs travel from room to room, we did not want to stay in either of the rooms we paid for. We told him that if we could not be moved to two new rooms in the other building, we wanted our money back. The staff member refused and told us to call Orbitz. He also tried to say we were lying about the bug (since I had thrown it in the toilet and flushed it instead of keeping it). We ended up all sleeping on 1 single bed together in the other room. The next day Orbitz was able to get us a refund and we left the hotel. I was disgusted by the treatment of the staff there and the fact that they had bed bugs.

Great location, large rooms, nearby free parking and helpful staff

Customer service was great! However, our room was super small. Towels were not that clean. Moreover, the breakfast buffet dishes were dirty.

Small room and lots of stairs but fantastic location and incredible staff. We will be back.

the bed was comfortable. heat was good. we upgraded to a fireplace then were told the upgrade was for bigger room. we were 2 people there is only 1 chair in the room. we had to ask for toiletpaper. the floors weren’t cleaned and this was winter with dirty boots in and out. thin walls so could not sleep late

We got early check in which was nice as we had to dress for a wedding

Hotel is very clean, comfortable and well located. Metro is probably 5 mins walk and you can connect to other different lines into the city real fast. there its plenty hotels around and supermarket.

The hotel was beautiful and the staff were friendly and very helpful. Parking was a bit of a challenge. I would recommend this hotel and would love to stay there again!!

Room was not as picture listed, more austere; breakfast could have had more fresh baked breads and staff could have made extra pot of coffee even though it was late.

This hotel is conveniently located just outside The Village. The staff were fantastic! The only thing I didn't like was the shower. Besides being very small, with no place to put your shampoo and soap, the water temperature fluctuated from super hot to super cold. If they could fix this, I'd have no complaints.

This is a quaint hotel a couple of blocks away from the metro. It's very clean and the breakfast was good and the staff at the restaurant was friendly. The fact that it's centrally located made it easy to get to all major attractions.

Great location, comfortable cozy. The rooms are small and the walls thin, but the staff and cleanlines more than made up for the mild inconveniences. Thank you.

The room was clean and though small, it was perfect for sleeping and showering as most of my time was spent out and about Montreal. I would recommend this hotel, and I would stay here again.

All of the staff members I met were very friendly and helpful. The hotel has wonderful character, both outside and in. I particularly enjoyed the balcony attached to my room! The room itself was a bit small by American standards, but had plenty of room for me. Most importantly, it was clean and comfortable. The hotel itself is only three blocks from a Metro station, making it a perfect base for exploring the city. The only potential drawback is that it is accessed by a rather steep staircase out front. Not a problem for me, but it might be an issue for older guests or those with limited mobility.

Even in good location, this is a very old hotel, the included breakfast is not good. the parking does not exist. Noisily and uncomfortable room.

The hotel was a pretty good last resort. I was disappointed with the heating of the place and there could've been more amenities and updated electronics. The T.V. was really old.

Dear guest, We are so sorry and disappointed to learn of your negative experience at our hotel. We thank you for taking the time to give us this feedback, which we take very seriously. We normally take great pride in the competence and professionalism of our staff.
