Fine hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff. Loads of shops nearby. We had a wonderful dinner in the restaurant. The massage at the SPA was just fair. This is definitely a top place to stay in Quebec City.

The stay was excellent. Location, service and food were all excellent.

I loved this hotel. The service was excellent, the staff helpful and friendly and the location was great. I loved the heated floors in the bathroom, an unexpected and lovely surprise. The location in lower town was great, a 3-4minute walk to the funicular to the upper town, within walking distance to everything.

We did not like the 007 room and Sara at the front desk and Matthew ( our bellman ) went out of their way to switch us to a more comfortable room. We really appreciated their thoughtfulness.

We had a wonderful stay. The tour of the hotel's unique features made the stay very special and different from the run of the mill type hotel. Even better no one was pretentious. We look forward to going back.

I was in Qbc city for work meetings and decided to stay at Auberge St Antoine not realizing this is a tres chique place. Very friendly and professional staff got me checked in in no time. Fire places were burning and I was invited to join the free cocktail reception. This is an old hotel and the hotel takes pride in displaying all the dug up artifacts. My room was excellent, clean and comfy with silk black out curtains. The bathroom has heated floors. I had an excellent dinner in the hotel's restaurant, portions were too small for me.

Auberge St. Antoine deserves its rating as the # 1 hotel in Quebec. The hotel was beautiful with each room having its own name and slightly different decor. The hotel staff was exemplary, especially the concierge staff. The three concierges that we met could not have been more helpful, caring and knowledgeable about their city. It was a wonderful stay,

Our room was very comfortably provisioned. We especially enjoyed the Nespresso coffee machine! We had a riverside view and woke up one morning to see that during the night a cruise ship had docked. The bed was a little firm for our taste. The bathroom had a shower/tub arrangement that was spacious and equipped with both an overhead rain showerhead and a wan, both of which could be operated simultaneously. The hotel is located on the lower section of Quebec and was convenient to all of the lower section charm. For $2.50/person you can ride the gondola up to take in all of the charm (and restaurants) the upper side has to offer. We have traveled extensively in North America and can honestly say you would be hard pressed to find a more chrming city than Quebec and a better value in a hotel!

We had a wonderful stay at the hotel and in Quebec City. It was like a Christmas fantasy. The hotel was great and the staff were so helpful. The only thing that was really odd for such a nice hotel was the lobby floor was never mopped. I know it was snowy and wet outside but It was stained all day and night with the trackings of salt and snow. I would think in this weather and in a hotel of this caliber someone would mop every few hours.

Auberge St Antoine is in the best possible location for touring and great restaurants. Originally it was a toss up between the Fairmont and Auberge, but after visiting the Fairmont, the lobby reminded me of Grand Central Station with tons of tourist walking through. The Auberge is located on a side street with a lovely lobby and warm atmosphere. The help couldn't be any nicer. Beautiful dining room too.
