We stayed in one of their new, modern rooms and it was great! Clean. The hotel had a very fun pool area that my kids loved!!

Very friendly& helpful staff great location we walked to old Quebec City & back to the hotel no problem.it was great to have the underground parking didn't have to worry about our car.The view from our room was great, would definitely stay here again.I will be telling family & friends about this hotel.

We loved this hotel because the room was nice ,clean , and hotel is in downtown of Quebec City. It was so easy to walk any way without driving. The bicycle paths were so close to the hotel so we had a great bicycle trip allow the city. The most important for us was the hotel allowed my dog in the room with us.

The hotel was nice and a great area with lots of restaurants nearby

My daughter and I made an action packed 2 day trip to Quebec City to visit friends and attend the Quebec Expo. We were delighted to find this hotel at a price we could afford - very close to the venue and in a lovely area with a variety of restaurants and shopping and history. The rooms were classy and clean and comfortable and the free coffee/espresso machine in the lobby was Awesome!! The staff was friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay there again!

First night there was a loud party that kept me up until much later than I was hoping for. Other than that nothing bad, but nothing great either. Pricey.

This hotel was a great value for money. It is located near the St. Roche area with lots of good restaurants and bars, for those who prefer creative, locally procured, non kitschy food , artisan cheeses and breads and craft beers. There is a bus stop right next door to the hotel and bus 801 travels to Place D' Youville next to the old Quebec area. For those wanting to walk, to old Quebec, it takes 20 minutes and is mostly uphill. We did not mind this at all. Our room had a fabulous view which we really enjoyed. The hotel was clean, the staff was friendly and their restaurant Gastronomique is also very nice.

Room had a great view of Saint Roch Cathedral! Overall -very comfortable, clean and simple elegance. Cappuccino machine in the lobby. Single traveller, felt safe, super friendly citizens, and love everything about Quebec City! My two favorite bakeries - La Boîte à Pain, few blocks from hotel & Paillard is closer to old Quebec.

it is an average hotel. it has a very nice swimming pool and gym. a nice coffee machine in the lobby, but not in the room. you need to go to the lobby every time you want coffee or tea.

Very simple and clean, the PUR is good for short stays.

The location isn't stellar if you're staying in the city during the winter, as it involves a lot more walking than staying closer to the old city. When we went looking for a place to have brunch, the concierge wasn't very helpful--didn't provide a map of the area and only really recommended the hotel restaurant. Kind of a bummer if you're looking to explore.

I just stayed here one night If you really want to have a nice stay, this hotel will be a good option ! Staffs are really friendly and helpful. even i can't speak french and not good english speaker, they helped us well. I strongly recommend here :)

really good hotel, good swimming pool and sauna, and complimentary coffe 24 hs at reception

No flowered bedspreads! Clean, minimal furnishings and fixtures, and a particularly nice view of the city from a full height window. This hotel also houses a very good restaurant. We would stay there again.

Very comfortable room, with full height window that provided a wonderful view of the city. The bed was very comfortable, with good quality linens. Only complaint was bathroom lighting - a bit too dark. Used mirror on closet door to put make-up on. Overall design is simple, clean, contemporary. Staff were all equally very helpful and friendly.

Perfect location and beautiful hotel. Very modern and stylish rooms. Short walking distance to all attractions. Loved it!

The hotel itself was very nice, clean, simple, but elegant. Very modern. Free WI-Fi. Friendly staff. The only real downside was that the restaurant/bar was not open for dinner or into the evening, making having a drink at the hotel impossible.

I love modern, boutique hotels and Hotel Pur is definitely this type. The hotel was quite busy while I was there but my floor was quiet. My room had a comfortable king sized bed, flat screen TV and large window. There was a small fridge, but no minibar. There also was an I-home for your Ipod/Iphone. I did not mind, unlike many reviewers, that the drawers in the closet were small. The bathroom was nice with a great shower and Aveda bath products, but no tub. Also, it seemed that the ceiling in the bathroom was not finished. The staff at Hotel Pur is excellent. The front desk people gave good suggestions on where to go and helped us get reservations at some very nice restaurants. The door staff were also friendly and assisted us with getting taxis. My only issue with this hotel is that it is a little far from downtown.

Hotel's decor is depressing and the room numbers and hallways make you think you're in a hostel or something similar. Otherwise the hotel is okay. Didn't like that there was no coffee maker in the room and you had to go to the lobby every time you wanted tea or coffee... but the decor is definitely the worst of the negatives.
