This Hotel located near the Church of Notre-Dame and Christmas Store(Boutique Noel) and City Hall. Very nice to visit every store and restaurantes. and have nice Heating System. If you need to warm air, you can control temprature each room. Every room have bath tub, you can use bubble shower. This hotel is little old, but in QUEBEC lots of hotel and hostel are same or more worst. If you need comfortable and easy contact every sight, you need this hotel.

This hotel is in the heart of old Quebec. Valet parking was reasonable. We had real issues getting to the hotel due to a bicycle race; after wandering the old city for two hours, we retreated to the newer part of town to rest and eat before returning to the hotel. The return three hours later was issue free. The room was small and filled with furniture; the bath was cramped. The staff was friendly and multilingual; the valets for parking our rental car were especially nice. We ate one breakfast in the hotel but thereafter ate in one of the many restaurants nearby. We ate the evening meal in our room. Quebec is beautiful but hard on old feet with rough pavement and steep inclines. This is definitely a walking city. We got to the Catholic and Anglican cathedrals, the Chateau Frontenac, the Citadel, the Governor General's Quebec residence, the Museum of Man, and other sites and lots of shops.

Overall, our experience was nice. The hotel is old but with a nice style. We liked the proximity of attractions. Negative points: -I have got a hard time to find ice machine on floor, no indication.. I had to walk to complete floors to finally find one. -Despite the fact that I advice the valet about our manual transmission vehicle and the respective feature (remove parking brake and engage reverse), the valet answered me with a mean way.. we were disturbed because he was not able to start it.

Hotel prices are expensive in the East of Canada. This hotel has a good Quality-price rate and its location is perfect,

Pleasant stay. Close to everything. Relax atmosphere.

Friendly staff Great location Helpful with directions Old time charm

The heart of Quebec, with great views. Can't beat the location. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Bartender makes a mean dirty martini, but skip the 17 dollar cheese plate which has literally 4 thin slices of mediocre cheese. The room was fine, but could have been cleaner. We stayed for 4 nights and I don't think the bathroom floor was wiped or vacuumed for at least a couple of the days. Grout in shower needs a good cleaning. Overall we liked the hotel and would go back if the deal was right.

Very nice and friendly staff, very helpful, older hotel with old world charm, having traveled quite a bit in Europe this hotel ranks high, It was clean in the rooms and bath, which is a biggie to my wife an myself. We took grand kids, and one night the 5 year old spilt coke on the bed sheets. Called the front desk, a staff member was at the door in 3 minutes to see what was needed, bed was changed out in less than 15 minutes, including a new comforter.

Bar lacks drinking making knowledge/ability compared to the competitors in the area. Room is small (standard), but was comfortable. Concierge services did not seem to want to engage with people all that much. Overall though it is worth it for location and cost.

We loved the hotel. The location was great!! The room is small but adequate. We stayed two nights before getting on a cruise ship.

Just loved the whole experience. Had wonderful views from the room and it was centrally located. Hope to go back again soon!

Other than getting lost finding the hotel everything was perfect.

excellent location , very friendly staff.....highly recommended , old world charm

Great location.......great atmosphere......great family faciltity.....

Had a great stay .....would go back. You can walk to everywhere you need to go in the city from this hotel

It has a great location, it is in the heart of Old Quebec. Comfortable, clean and it is an historic building. Great for 2 or 3 days there.

This hotel is very conveniently located close to anything you'd want to see or experience in Quebec city. The atmosphere is very charming and has a old european feel to it that is very warm and embracing

nice location, nice hotel, nice staff, fair price ... good place to stay to enjoy Quebec downtown

Staff at the Hotel Clarendon were extremely helpful and gracious. Valet parking @ $25/day is a plus. Drive directly to the hotel, drop your car keys at the front desk and it will be valet parked-easy peasy. Did not eat at the hotel as there were many places nearby to explore. Ask for a room with a view: either the inner courtyard or facing the museum across the street. The beds and linens were quite nice and comfortable. Enjoyed my stay tremendously!

Is a great location, great value, the staff is fantastic as the whole city is. The room was very small. But they have great rooms. Make sure you getting what you want. All the restaurants are amazing and all close by the hotel. I would check in here again!
