This hotel has a great location. We were there for the winter carnival and we were right in the heart of it. The night parade even goes right by the hotel. The rooms were clean and spacious. The amenities like the pool and wine vending machine were also really nice. I would definitely stay here again.

Great location with views of Plains of Abraham and the Parliament and a 5 minutes walk to Old Quebec. plenty of food choices right around the corner including their own.

We were very pleased the hotel. It is about 2 blocks from the old city and right off the main street. The room was spacious, the bed was comfortable and theu are environmentally conscious.

I stayed there for 3 nights. The hotel's location is great for tourists, since many places are very close to the hotel. Ask for one of the new rooms, which are worth the extra charge of $35.

Rooms were not cleaned during our stay (maid came late afternoon when we were in room and refused to come back)

We liked this traditional hotel. It has a very good location and positive customer service attitude. Everything worked well and the value for money was great.

No one offered to check our bags or valet our car. Poor Room ,no shampoo,no coffee, broken faucet handle, very Poor Room Cleaning Attendants

This was the best place to stay while in Quebec, it was right in the old section and very easy to get to things that were important to see and do. The staff was very helpful when ask quections as well. Having the resturant in the hotel was great as well.

In my opinion, the actitud of the people at the front desk was not excellent.

The staff were very pleasant and helpful. We had requested a room with two beds and were assigned a small room with just one. No problem. Even though it was a very busy week-end (Roger Waters concert) the situation was quickly remedied. Definitely would stay there again.

In this hotel the service was wonderful, but our European Room left a lot to be desired. There was no Wifi, the TV was small and had a poor picture. The room was small with minimal extra space for luggage and other supplies. We kept shifting things from one area to another and had trouble remaining organized. One side of the bed had no bedside table, as there wasn't room. The bathroom was very small with no counter space, which then required bringing toiletries into and out of the bathroom The location was great, close to everything, making walking the best method to get around.

Room window had a view of the entertainment stip on Grande Allée. The hotel was 2 steps away from old Québec.

My wife and I come here every summer since 2008. Our room was on the corner of the Main Strip(where the action happens). The room was half the size of a normal hotel room but that is how it is in Europe and this part of Canada is like Europe, that's why we come here. Older bathroom but everything works. Carpet did need vacuuming but I read that about this hotel before I chose to stay here. There are modern hotels further from the action. This hotel, you can just walk downstairs and you are downtown. From our window, we can see the old fort, the government building and the old town, 1 block away. It gets a 3-star cause it was small and needed just a little more cleaning.

Reserved a room for two with a queen bed. Got a room with two doubles, and were told that the hotel was full, but the good news was that we "would not be charged extra for the bigger room." I couldn't tell if there was some sarcasm I was missing. The room was fine. Not impressive, not dirty or bad. View was equally unimpressive - of a snow-filled courtyard. Check-out time is noon. We thought that turndown would probably be sometime between then and 4:00pm, the latest check-in time. We left in the morning and returned to an un-tidied room at around 3. The people were next door though, so we left to grab a coffee. 45 minutes later, we returned, and our room was still untouched. We gave up, and half an hour later, awoke from a nap to decline housekeeping services. Ordered breakfast the second morning. We selected a 15-minute window (in a check-off form) when it should be delivered; it was late. The meal itself: I would rather have had one of those breakfast platters from McDonalds or Denny's, and I don't eat at those places particularly often. Not a matter of snobbery, I'm pretty easy to please. The toast was soggy, the home fries were clearly frozen, and maybe microwaved. All this cost more than twice what I'd have expected to pay for it. The staff was friendly, and spoke English well. But this place was definitely not worth the money spent. Parking, in the hotel's parking garage, was expensive, and charged by the day on top of the already-expensive room.

Bad TV but great location. Staff was great

Very friendly staff willing to speak English and make the stay enjoyable. The location was perfect for the walled city and the Festival d'été de Québec. The rooms were clean and quiet, especially considering all the commotion going on outside.

The Hotel is cosy and nice. The staff was very frendly. If you need a great breakfast I would recommend the restaurant "Cosmos" about 300 m west of Hotel on a Grande Allee. Avoid to go for a breakfast to the tourist zone in a Upper Town - very busy and expensive. As a drawback I would mention very small rooms. But if you are not staying a lot of time in a Hotel - it's not a big deal. Another issue was when I checked out from a Hotel. The consierge insisted that [...] and so they would like to charge me for the room one more time (despite I paid for everything couple days before my trip). Only hotel's manager help to resolve the problem. In general everything was great, especially hotel location, the weather and frendly people around.

We were very satisfied with this hotel, especially after the one we stayed at in Montreal for about the same price. The location was fantastic-close to the Citadel and the main tourist attractions of Quebec, including Chateau Frontenac and lower Quebec. The staff was very friendly and helped me w/ directions to my next destination. When I came through Quebec again on my way to Jacques Cartier Provincial Park, I drove right to the hotel because I was lost, parked the car and went in and got excellent directions from the concierge. I would recommend this hotel to everyone going to Quebec. My daughter was pleased w/ the swimming pool and sauna. My only complaint, the restaurant and bar was closed for renovation. But, there were a large number of restaurants across the street.

Because of their expansion, finding yourself around the hotel is a little daunting, esp. trying to find your car. Parking costs with taxes is expensive. Everything is heavily taxed.
