Room was odd. No plugs for recharging except by the door, floor was overlaid and made noise when stepping on it. Smell of tobacco in the hallways. Pillows were overlarge both of them.
Central location at a decent value. One of our room window closures was broken and would not lock as the mechanism had become detached. Noise and wind from the outside filtered in and startled us in our sleep. The sink drain was partially clogged. I alerted the front desk but nothing was done.
Clean. Organized. Friendly staff. I give it 5 stars ++
It's not in downtown Montreal, but it is right by the metro station which will bring you right to downtown in maybe 20 minutes or less. Very affordable. My only complaint is that the staff seemed a little pretentious regarding the fact that we did not speak French. Depending on the affordability of other hotels, we might consider staying again if we were to visit Montreal a second time.
