Food was good Pools need to be skimmed more Fun activity for all

Walking up stairs to the 3rd floor wasn't great several times a day. The 1 bar,Coconuts by our room closed @ 5pm.

Quality of the room could have been better- more specifically the bathroom, looked like the tub in our room broke, the removed and replaced, and then put the mud around to seal it and just left it. Water leaked out of the shower door so the door frame was moldy

Liked how close beach was and activities available. Didn’t like cleanliness of first room, and ability to not take food back to room. Actually got yelled at by a staff member in buffet when I tried to take a plate of food back to my room

Views are excellent, staff is friendly. Water is calm and clean. You can see a lot of different fish right from the beach. They provide a variety of entertainment programs. Food is good.

The staff, overall, was great. We were "upgraded" upon arrival. Room at one time was great, now needing many small repairs. We were told it was a 5, closer to a 2.4. Two mgrs notified, no real action, we were offered a big discount on our next trip there, not happening. Beware of salespeople immediately after leaving plane, entering building. Now selling "Memberships" to a vacation site club. We were told we could pass it on to our children or friends after we die, guess that is because that is the only way to get out of the contract. Not a favor to kids or friends. Site satisfactory, they will keep you in liquor and food, that is for sure.

Room had not been maintained. Plumbing fixtures all corroded. Paint peeling and chipped. Bathroom door warped etc.

This property is poorly run and maintained! The views are amazing the staff is kind. The restaurants are not all open at any given night and only have a limited menu selection that is the same every night. The hot food was not hot or warm unless you saw them make it on the grill while you watched. NO ICE CREAM. NO BACON. NO POTATOES . NO MILK. NO BUTTER. FRESH SALSA WAS VERY SCARCE . I tried to speak to a manager 2 of the days we were there they were not available...EVER! Housekeeping was hit and miss, washcloths were rare. we were there 8 nights and felt that the food options were few and not served at an appropriate temp. THIS IS A USA BASED COMPANY AND SHOULD HAVE MUCH HIGHER STANDARDS !!!!!!!!! Diving was in front of Secrets the next resort over and was GREAT!

You can hear everything from each room, even when the person upstairs is just walking.

The room smelled of mold and mildew and had mildew on the bathroom walls, shower curtain. I told the front desk and they sent someone to clean and the smell was a little better bu stilled smelled moldy and musky. The grounds were beautiful and the service was good.

All the restaurants are very good. The grounds have incredible plants. Resort is located on the beach.

We have been going to Sunscape for over 10 years but are unlikely to return. They have poured money into the neighboring property but clearly not this one. The rooms continue to go downhill and food options are declining. We are sad as this has been a family destination for years.

I’ve stayed here several times. The ocean and beach is amazing. Great dive shop. Staff friendly and helpful! The rooms are clean and comfortable. In the past I have raved about the food at the buffet. This year it was just okay. There was always fresh fruit and salad as well as cooked veggies and some type of potato. They had a fish, chicken, and beef option as well. Unfortunately the variety was lacking. It was basically the same things every lunch and dinner. The Italian restaurant and the breakfast buffet were excellent! I think I’ll probably still go back but won’t rave about the food.

Some of staff was nice. We did not receive help when it was needed. Went to medic 4 times and were turned away without any assistance. A/C is needed. All restaurants were too uncomfortable to relax and eat. Also, no hot water in rooms made a bad situation worst

Beach was beautiful, housekeeping was not that great had to ask for towels, kleenex and water on numerous occasions. Food was alright, disappointing that they didn't have a snack buffet. Personally, we will not go back to this resort.

Liked how close beach was and activities available. Didn’t like cleanliness of first room, and ability to not take food back to room. Actually got yelled at by a staff member in buffet when I tried to take a plate of food back to my room
