Hotel looks old but yes it is clean I feel it is not a good value for money I did not eat there so can't give review about food Staff were not that friendly (except for one)

Make sure you get everything documented. I had called the hotel the night before our stay. We asked them to make sure that there were double beds for each room as we had 5 people (3 were kids) in each room. We also asked to have the rooms together. They indicated it was ok to have double beds, but to call back the next day to see if rooms together were available. We called the next day and were told the rooms were together, however, there were no double beds available. This really frustrated us, as we drove to Springfield MA from NJ. If this was the case we would have just elected to take a 3 hour drive home. As a result, this put a little damper on my son's 13th birthday. In addition, I just saw an extra charge for one extra night. Looks like they did not check us out of one of the rooms. So there is some sort of incompetence at this Marriott. I never had any trouble like this before from this company. I would recommend not going to the Springfield MA Marriott. Lastly, the rooms were just average.

Comfortable stay. Marriott is my preferred hotel chain when travelling.

The hotel is great with friendly staffs. While Springfield downtown is very quite, too quite.

Marriot stays are always nice...comfiest bed you ever sleep in.

competent staff, eager to please and help . The location was ideally convenient for conducting business in downtown Springfield. The hotel dining venues were reasonably priced and above average but not gourmet in quality. Excellent cleanliness.

This is the best hotel I have found in Springfield.

We had a dance competition at a nearby convention center.

Staff was very accommodating gave us great directions and helped us with our over-sized vehicle in the parking garage. We had room service and ate at Champions, both were great.

Booked theis hotel for an overnight stay as we were going to the Big E.....great location...minutes from the fair

The unfriendly staff nickeled and dimes me during my brief stay. A $200 room that a local friend told me was $160 for New Years didn't exactly excite me. Poor dining selection for a Sunday night travler. Bathrooms ultra small with super cheap overly perfumed products. You can find a bigger bathroom at a budget motel. Hotel charged for bottled tap water ($4) and for breakfast. If this was truly a luxury hotel it might have been worth it bit with the grumpy staff, expensive overnight parking ($14), small bathroom, Internet that you have to pay for, I have absolutely no incentive to return to this mediocre fake fancy dump.

Hotel was nice and clean with a great location. Parking garage was $14.00 dollars per day added to bill. Coffee in lobby was in one shot plastic cups and if you wanted coffee, you paid dearly for it. Bathrooms are incredibly small.

Hotel was very centrally located in town. It a very short distance to all the things we did in the area; Basketball Hall of Fame, Eric Carle Museum, Springfield Museums, and Six Flags. Other than the rain we had a relaxing time.

We had a great time staying at the hotel but my son lost his wallet in the room with a $140 (ONE HUINDRED FORTY DOLLARS). This was the first time too that I gave a good tip in a hotel and this happened.

I enjoyed my stay at the Marriott. The staff was quite helpful and very friendly.
