No sheets on bed. Room was tiny and very sparse which would have been fine for less than $650 and/or if fully disclosed. No in-room coffee maker. Just very, very basic
I loved the Lobby and the location.
Great location near the TD Garden and you can walk to everything. Great view from the room
I like the central location. The rooms are horribly small and you had to pay for any everything, no free coffee or anything
What a unique place to stay! We were in town for a Bruins game and it was so convenient to stay right in the same building. Rooms are small but make very efficient use of space. The staff was outstanding- friendly, helpful, and very engaging. The hotel itself does not offer parking, so we ended up parking in the same building (convenient but expensive). The bar/living room areas are so homey - after the game we went there for drinks and played board games. Would definitely stay here again!
The location was perfect!
Was good stay
Great and friendly staff that assisted with check in/out process and overall experience. Great hotel for those wanting to enjoy a game at TD Garden. Rooms are perfect and cozy. Definitely recommend for those looking to explore. Everything is so convenient, from getting an uber to the train station to doing some walking and exploring all the dining and amazing things Boston has to offer.
Great place to stay to take in a game at the Garden. Cozy and clean, a fun place to stay!
When I first stayed at this CitizenM, albeit the year before COVID hit, it was a very pleasant experience for its price point of about $230 per night. But not at the $450 per night the hotel now charges. The rooms are incredibly tiny; so small, in fact, that the bathroom is so close to the bed, and so open to the rest of the room, that anyone who shares the room with you will be sharing your most intimate sounds, smells, and slightly blurry visuals. So small, that the swinging bathroom door crashes into the toilet. It also has a self-serve check in, which is well worth it if you're getting a room in Boston for around $250 a night. At $450 a night, it's, well, chintzy and below the standards of even less expensive hotels in the city. Oh, and they'll also charge you more if there's an event at TD Garden because why not? They're confident, I guess, that there are enough guest who don't care that it's okay to do a little price gouging. It's not how my father ran his business, or how I run mine. And my guess is they'll keep on keeping on with this practices as long as people are willing to take it. The problem, which may not be a problem at all to CitizenM, is that this is a good way to lose loyal customers (including those like me that had been enthusiastically recommending the hotel at its various locations across the US to clients and friends). Cross this off the list of places that are pretty special. Not at these prices.
Sooo small! If you intentionally book what could only be called an “efficiency” room in an effort to save money, that would make sense. But this room is on-par with pricing for most other actual hotels ($350 for a Thursday night) but the “room” is insanely tiny (it is literally only as wide as the bed is long) and the toilet and shower are in a self-contained pod in the room. It would be spacious if it was an RV but for the price of what was supposed to be hotel, this was stupid. Not to mention that there is no indication when you enter of how to check in - you have no choice but to wander to the mystery elevator and go to the only floor it goes to before reaching an actual lobby.
Very cool hotel. Great location and staff. Easy to check in/ check out. Everything is new and updated.
Very clean. Great staff. Great location and felt very safe! Would go back!
I loved the entrance decor it was eye catching.
